Beware of faulty cookers!

I've got a faulty product. The cooker's beautiful but the one I got is non-functional as the opening for the safety valve let's all the steam escape.
Amazingly, the safety valve in the pressure cooker isn't having all the components and I've been foolishly trying to cook in it while the steam was escaping right in front me, wondering why this is happening. My engineering degree didn't help. :D
And hell I noticed it when 10 days had already passed, and now I'm having a lovely time talking to Flipkart Customer care who of course are denying to register a complaint. Yeah partly my fault because I had never thought that this can happen on Flipkart and I also missed my 10 days leverage of getting a replacement.
Beware guys! Check the cooker thoroughly when you receive it.

Pros:The cooker feels premium and of good quality. It feels sturdy and has some weight to it but not too heavy.The handle and lid are decent and are easy to open and close. They are easy to clean as well.The best part is the whistle which is not too loud, unlike older cookers. The cooker works great for making rice, gravy and sabzis.The product comes with a very detailed manual containing some good dos and donts.Could not find any cons.Overall a perfect pressure cooker. Highly recommended.

Really good cooker. Cooks dals v fast. But try to use a wooden ladle for stirring dishes inside it. Also wash it with a soft green sponge. Don't give ur maid a steel scrub to wash it. Use it carefully and it will last u for a long time.
