1. Very strong steel wire 2. My favorite is that the pack comes along with a stainless steel holder. We just need to affix it to either a concrete wall or a sturdy piece of furniture. They have also been smart enough to provide a small plate to cover the screws so that once we tighten the screws to the wall/furniture(they have also provided a sticker for those who want to stick rather than screw it), someone else cannot easily unscrew it. This was very thoughtful as I was wondering how I could secure it. 3. Also thoughtful is that the pack comes along with some 'stickers(vinyl washers, I might say)' that can be used on the lock so that it doesn't hang limply in the laptop. 4. They had made the combination readable by providing green circles around them. 5. Delivery was prompt 6. Well packed. Definitely worth the money. I have both the cheap version and this costly one. And, the difference in money is certainly shown as this product is very strong and comes with all the necessary accessories.

this product came from delhi via mumbai to bangalore. If I had known this I would not have logged into flipkart. It took more than 10 days to deliver. good built quality as it is not "make in india" but certainly cannot say its value for money. Someone is making a ton of money at your expense. You will feel guilty after buying this.
