Hi, I bought this product because it was mentioned that it is the original Dell battery and the brand name trust of 'Flipkart'. But the product that I got it was not original. It was some other company, not original Dell company as mentioned in the advertisement, it was a compatible battery. And it was not accepting the charging from my adapter. So, I returned it. I request you guys, plz prefer original Dell battery, it is more safe for ur laptop. I don't know how Flipkart is allowing such fraud sellers on their website. Why can't Flipkart do a quality check before making the products available on their website. This type of incident broke my trust in Flipkart. I don't know whether I will buy any electronic product from Flipkart or not, bcoz in the future if I buy, I will always have a doubt about the quality. Hope Flipkart will take strict action about fraud sellers and make their brand name trustworthy. Thanks.

All I want to say is that I feel cheated. Have been using Flipkart for over two years now but have never felt so disappointed. The battery which is supposed to last for 21/2 - 3 hours doesn't even last 1 hour and it has hardly been 10 days. Someone has to be held accountable for this. Flipkart cant just wash its hands off. If you sell a product and make a profit out it you are very much responsible for ensuring its quality and authenticity. For those who are reading this review please don't buy this crap, find an alternate source.

I have been using this battery for the past few weeks and its giving me only 1and half hour backup if you are watching a movie. If you keep the laptop switched off then the standby time is just 2 days even when you have charged it to 100% . My previous battery used to give me 2 and half hour backup even after 1 year of used but later on it reduced . But this being a new one is giving very less backup..being the original dell battery for my inspiron 1440 i did not expect such a poor backup.
