I have used creative EP630, Bose IE2 earphones, compared to those soundmagic es18 performs better. Bose IE2 has better build quality, but for Rs 780 we can't expect so much from this. For people who are confused with creative EP630 and SM ES18, based on my experience soundmagic es18 is the best. If you are planning to buy an earphone within 1k then this the one!! This is so much fun especially when your friends get some new mp3 player, and the earphones that come with them don't pass all of those tests... ;) 3. It has much better bass and treble than MANY other earphones in the market. Quality is equal to Apple/Sony earphones, but when it comes to bass these earphones beat the crap out of all other earphones. Even after 1.5 years. 4. Very cheap given its quality. When I bought them, they costed about Rs.550. Now look.... the price wouldn't have risen if they're bad earphones. Even at this price range, they're so much better than others. 5. They look gorgeous. Just look at that Green and Black design. From distance, it looks like some Skull Candy earphone (and makes you look cool!). Need I say that their quality is as good as (if not better) than Skull Candy at same range? 6. The wire is strong. It won't break that easily. So if you're like me and sleep with earphones in you ear, don't worry. Just take care that you won't get suffocated.... (just kidding.. ) 7. Noise Isolation. Plug-it in and you won't hear almost anything (unless you're in some train... ;) ). I casually plug them in my ears (without playing music) to avoid disturbing noises (like your roommate chewing loudly) when I am trying to concentrate on something. Guess what, I am pretty impressed with the results too. ;) Cons: 1. The design on the earphones wears out after sometime (which is to be expected with any earphones maybe). 2. It comes with extra buds, but not with buds of different sizes. 3. The Left and Right signs on earphones are hard to read. It took sometime for me to realize where they're printed when I first brought them. They're still hard to look at. I instead plug them in, play a song, and change sides if the audio seems wrong. That seems much easier. (A tip for those already using: M sign is for left year. ES-18 is for right). 4. After a long time, your earphones may not play very low frequency sounds like mine. But this shouldn't be a problem because most frequencies are still excellently played, and even the low frequency problem wont cause much trouble for those hearing at high volume. Conclusion: Great product. Hats off! Bottom line advice: If you're looking for something in the range of 500-1500 - Just buy this! You'll save money! If you're looking for something less than 500, get some more money and buy this!

Ok so I dint quite know what to expect from a xxx rupees china headset. Was a bit skeptic at the beginning. The box looked all “china made”(I own a Sennheiser cx280. AWESOME!). The wires looked and felt all cheap. The 3.5mm plug looked very thin and flat. The silicon ear buds also same, cheap feeling when touched. A bit rough if you may. So all in all, yea, it is a “china set” headphones. Then I plugged my S3 to it and I was like, whaaaaaaaat!! It delivers almost the quality sound as my sennheiser which is 4 times the cost. Of course the build also matters but if you are budget restricted then this is THE headphones to go for. PROS: Very good audio, Superb bass (for that cost). Good box packaging (if you are into those sorta things). You also get a code so you can verify if you have got the genuine product. 1year warranty. Some of the headphones offer only 6months. You get a small pouch to carry the headphones around (I dint get Jack! With my 2800 rupees Sennheiser) CONS: Cheap build quality. Ultra complicated, very tough to remove the headphones outa the box. The treble is a bit too much when you compare the bass-treble ratio. I don’t know, this could just be me. I listen to trance, dubstep and stuff like that. So yea, that’s my review on the SoundMAGIC ES 18.

first,thank god.i was always worried about this earphone working on my galaxy S till it reachd my hands.(many samsung earphones dont sync with SGS). about product: True to its name -its a magic 2 the buyer-both in terms of sound quality and its pricing. I am not really techy on earphones but as one who listens music very often,i am providing some lay facts: + good sound amplificn- u can enjoy ur songs at half d volume u previously used. + u can feel d real difference bw each equaliser mode and effect mode (pop,rock &jazz really mind blowing) + the pouch provided is cute & useful 4 carrying it along. + proper fitting in ur ears is not a problem thanks to d buds provided -of 2 sizes. + added to all others- this has a 1yr warranty!!cool and assures u of d quality of this stuff. - voice clarity gets a bit compromised on high bass (just my feeling?) - the slim wires do make me worried about snapping off esp. with rough use. - colour- green colour makes people looking onto it -esp on travelling-makes me feel shy.Colour doesnt please all eyes. overall i d like to give it a 4.5 rating.

Sound magic is no magic but truly value for every cent.Staring with build and looks, they are very well built and wires are well kept even when accidently you transfer moderate shock to them. They look lovely too.When it comes to sound, don't expect any extra, they are average in sound with a little bit boosted bass. In my experience, general customer likes this. If you play musical instrument and looking for very pure experience, they are not for you.Noise cancelation is also average but these in ear earphones do help to get rid of certain amount of noise.For the price under 600, they are a fair selection and won't disappoint you.

Ok this review is not for the product but the way customers are being misled to buy defective products. I purchased two headphones of the same type one in colour black and one in colour green. The black one is good and sound good. Now coming to the green one, the sound quality was just terrible and sure to be defective. The problem here is that the product was shipped knowing well that the product was defective, the clever way is that on top opening of the box there are three seals making you believe that the product has never been unpacked buy the truth lies at the other end of the box. There is no seal and way to easy to remove and repack..please who ever is responsible should not be doing this, this is just spoiling the product reputation along with that of Amazon..product manufacturers should even seal the bottom opening.

Using this headphone for over a month now and I love it. A nice balanced sound between treble and bass is the specialty of this thing. Although bass is not like a banging thing in this, but it's enough, the treble is not piercing and very smooth. Nice.Edit: It is still going strong after almost one year. My Sennheiser, audio technica and nokia has passed away. RIght now, this is my go-to, movie and jogging headphones now. In terms of longevity and sound signature, it reigns supreme. I also purchased a Sony MDRXB450 but that is like my "luxury" music experience thing...that's not a 24/7 companion like this ES18. It's the dark horse of headphones.

i bought sound magic es 18 in the month of April at the cost of 799. The product is descent. But today i experienced a problem with this earphone. The left side of the earphone stopped working abruptly. i called the flipkart customer care & they told that flipkart only gives 1 month replacement warranty from their side, the other 6 months warranty is from manufacturer. so the customer care representative gave me 2 phone numbers to contact sound magic guys. but both numbers were inactive. In the next conversation with another representative, the guy told me to find out sound magic's service center here in india & asked me to check their website as there is no further help that they can do from their side. I knew at that point that i am going nowhere with this but was left with only one option to check their website. i found nothing on sound magic's website.[Shocked] The next thing i searched for was "sound magic customer care" and the 1st hit that i got said, their is only 1 service center and that to it is only in delhi.[Another Shocker] so for the rest part of india. sound magic doesnt exist itself and the contact no that was mentioned on that web page was the same 1 as the 1st flipkart cc representative gave me.[no Wonder from where the flipkart guys got the All in one SM contact no] The comments on that webpage mentioned the same problem that i noticed with mine, "left side of earphone not working'. if you want to confirm what i am saying go ahead check it yourself. Search "Sound magic customer care", click on the first link and u will see the same. so the bottom line is their is no support for es 18 & any other Sound magic product here in india. so now i have a product which is well under warranty & i have a problem with it but their is hardly anything that i can do to avail it.

I am a professional Sound Editor by monstercat media europe. I am a monster(dr. dre) and pioneer studio over the ear headphone user. just to see output of these ones, i ordered couple of them for me and my partner and i was amazed with incredible sound quality. I am serious the perfect bass, clear mids even responsive for minor dB change and very clear trebles which are very clear. i am working with them on my Audacity softwere and not a single time disappointed. Go for them!

these are the one of the best earphones i have tested at this price. it has extra ordinary lows(BASS),mid are also great , high's(TREBLE) are not that great. i showed this earphone's to my friend they said"abey kaunsi local company ke utha laya ....beats ki imitation i said just try it and there mouth were shut fir kehte "bade faad h yaar !!" i made a good choice in buying these product. you will definately not regret in buying this product.it has good noise cancellation and no one can hear you at full volume!!

I knew at that point that i am going nowhere with this but was left with only one option to check their website. i found nothing on sound magic's website.[Shocked] The next thing i searched for was "sound magic customer care" and the 1st hit that i got said, their is only 1 service center and that to it is only in delhi.[Another Shocker] so for the rest part of india. sound magic doesnt exist itself and the contact no that was mentioned on that web page was the same 1 as the 1st flipkart cc representative gave me.[no Wonder from where the flipkart guys got the All in one SM contact no] The comments on that webpage mentioned the same problem that i noticed with mine, "left side of earphone not working'. if you want to confirm what i am saying go ahead check it yourself. Search "Sound magic customer care", click on the first link and u will see the same. so the bottom line is their is no support for es 18 & any other Sound magic product here in india. so now i have a product which is well under warranty & i have a problem with it but their is hardly anything that i can do to avail it.

I have used creative EP630, Bose IE2 earphones, compared to those soundmagic es18 performs better. Bose IE2 has better build quality, but for Rs 780 we can't expect so much from this. For people who are confused with creative EP630 and SM ES18, based on my experience soundmagic es18 is the best. If you are planning to buy an earphone within 1k then this the one!!
