Awsome tab of this price range
By Debjyoti Nathon
Before I got this tab I did some research, I saw the reviews for this tab on flipcart and was not very happy about the product I thought this product wud be let down.i was convinced to buy samsung galaxy tab.but then I thought instead of beliving on the reviews I myself went to an electronic shop and tried the both the products samsung, sony.the first thing that came to my mind when I srarted testing sony "wow the touch is nothing I have ever experienced be4".then I took the samsung n I felt the touch had some lags not as smooth as the sony.i bought it then n there.
I saw some people complaing about not being able to use sd card as internal memory i.e user are saying they have to transfer the data to internal memory to watch videos, listen to musdics etc.wel there is a work around for the. There is an android app ES FILE EXPLORER, download that n then u can access and use ur sd card just like u r accessing internal memory, although u cannot install applicationsd in ur external sd card,u can certainly store movies ,docs, music stuffs there and use it.
Just to end please dont belive on the reviews entirely do check the stuff urself.i have been using it for the past 4 months n m very happy with it,specially after the 4.0.3 upgrade to ice cream sandwich.it looks I mean the UI is jst simply wow.
I hope my review was helpful for people who are looking forward to buy a tab.
ultra stylish! love it!!
By Santha M Kumaron
One would never regret buying this tablet. It is ultra stylish, compact and worth every buck you've spent.
It is stunningly light in your hands and very comfortable to hold.
The web browsing experience was awesome. The shape of this tablet makes typing very convenient.
I'm not 100% satisfied with the camera but overall features make this a lovely gadget!
If you are looking for an android below 25000 bucks this is the best pick! go ahead and buy it...!
An honest review from a die heart Sony fan
By Debajyoti Palon
I have been using the Sony tablet for the past 3 months. I also have an apple ipad2 for the past 6 months. I have been continously using both of them side by side. Since the price tag for both these tablets are almost same I compare then here as per my experience:
1) In terms of free applications like office or games android market would provide you with more versatility. So with respect to productiity and pricing the Sony tab wins.
2)Display resolution and battery backp of apple is unmatched. Sony cannot even compete with apple in this regard. Watching the same video in both the tabs simultaneously would make you realise this. So in this respect it's apple all the way.
3)Touch quality for apple is awesome. It's not that Sony is bad, but then again just experience apple to feel what I am trying to say.
Overall I have a strong feeling that it's not Sony that looses the race to apple, but it's Android in general which can't even match iOS in most of the departments. Practically speaking when you can afford some 28000 bucks for a tablet like sonytab, then please don't go for any android tablets at least. If you are a die heart fan of Sony like me, then u might purchase the product as I did, but then again for the rest of u.............obviously it's apple all the way and no body can bet them at least for the time being.
Sony Tablet S Price Cut!!!
By Rahul Agrawalon
Very bad on sony's part on not extending the price cut to India... seems to be a good buy once the price is reduced.. though the non availability of sd card as an extended memory is a let down but thats fine with me at least when the price cut is extended to India..
Amazing experience
By Sumbul Bilgramion
i have been a frequent user of this product now, nd i have to say tht this product is worth every penny... capped with a lot of interesting features, its only defect is that the front camera is of only 0.3 MP and tht there is no 3G..... otherwise, it is an amazing piece of tech!!!
