I have been using these headphones past couple of weeks and I am very much satisfied with how they have turned out to be. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to purchase these from Flipkart as it was not available at the point of time when i wanted to buy it and moreover I wanted to see them personally before i made the purchase as the amount which it demands is not less and according to me headphones are better tried and then bought, so I got it from a local store. The pros and cons and neutral points are given below. Pros: 1) The Headphones look absolutely stunning. Sure head turner. The "Walkman" logo lights up which add to its looks (P.S you can even close this lighting up on walkman logo). 2) The built quality is excellent. It feels sturdy, obviously something which you expect from Sony. 3) The earpads are of good quality and feels comfortable on ears. 4) It has an LED light (has 3 colours, Green, Orange and Red) which displays the status of various things, for like While charging the status is incidated by Orange colour, whereas on completion it turn to Green. You will know what they do exactly once you get the headphones. They help a lot. 5) It comes with 4GB of storage which is enough to store quite a good amount of songs. 6) The battery is absolutely pleasing. I have only charged it once since i purchased them and i have listened to music about 7-8 days (though not daily) for an hour every time and the LED still shows Green" and the time taken for it to charge is reasonable, however, you can "Quickcharge" it (Yes, its true, not a gimmick) to get an hour long of playback. 7) Coming onto the most important part, the sound quality. The sound quality is extremely good. It comes with 2 modes, viz, Clear Bass (which gives an instant heavy-hitting bass boost) and Clear Phase (which tighten the bass levels and enhance the vocals/music from mid to high end). Overall the sound quality is extremely good and clear and the Bass is extremely sharp and not muddy at all. You wont be disappointed. 8) A female voice guides you everytime you operate the headphones so you do know exactly what you have pressed which helps a lot. 9) The headphone has "Zappin" feature which plays a short piece of music and skips onto the other track so as to let you find your desired songs quickly which proves very helpful. Neutral Points: 1) The headphones are a bit heavy and bulky, this might bother some people, but in the end this is a personal perspective. 2) Though comfortable, they are not the very best in comfort, my ear does pain if i listen to it a lot continuously, but any headphone which i have encountered yet does it so I cant specifically blame it because one should not listen on the headphones for hours. 3) Learning to operate the headphones can be a bit difficult because you cannot see what are you pressing exactly, it does take some time to get used to them. To ease up things bit, you can even create folders and switch to next folder to get to your songs quickly (this is not mentioned much anywhere, i had to do a bit of research to get to know it. To do that you just need to hold the next button from a second longer, then the female voice tell you its been shifted to next folder) 4) The Speakers are not so very impressive. The clarity is fairly good but they are not very loud. I don't care about the speakers but some people might find this a let down. Cons: 1) As I mentioned, they are a bit heavy and bulky. 2) The earpads do tend to get hot in if hearing for hours or depending on the temperature. 3) The sound quality in standard headphone mode i.e with a cord attached to a source is not as good as the mp3 mode. There is a great difference in the sound quality when connected as a headphone to any source. This is a big disappointment. 3) They are not very carry friendly, the headphones don't fold inwards, the earpads just rotate 180 degrees thats it. 4) There is no case given to carry them around, and there is no case available in the market from where you can get one, it is not made in the first place by Sony, I am really disappointed with this. I searched a lot but i couldn't get any case to carry it around. Just get a waterproof pouch or something to carry it, no other option. 5) They are a bit expensive at the price at which they were launched at and I think they should be a bit more pocket friendly, however, they do deserve every penny they cost, this is just my personal opinion about the pricing. 1 star is deducted because of the cons, mainly because of the difference in the sound quality when connected as headphone and lack of carrying medium. Bottom Line: Great headphones with excellent sound quality and very punchy and clear bass. Definitely worth your money, go for it, you won't be disappointed unless you can live with those cons.

Sony Wow… you guys rocks and this is why you can think of such useful devices. Pure technology First thing first the sound- With Extra Bass Driver Unit it gives you all the thump you need as a bass lover, can’t be better. Controls- Controls are easy and handy; it took me only 5 minutes to get use of it. Looks- Cool and best in class with Illuminators on both the sides Comfort- Like other Supra-aural Closed Headphones, They are also fordable, so they take less space when you need to carry them around. Forget to mention about flipcart- Thank you for making this product available this soon and same like always super quick delivery within 48 hours with great packing. Keep it up guys… A must buy product…

I did not buy this product from Flipkart but am using it .... SO it was one of those days when I probably left my head wandering somewhere in a decent place and had limited thinking power or else I wouldn't have gone for a headphone which ... - Cost me nearly 9K - Feels somewhat similar to that last scene of Shutter, where the guys Girlfriend was on his shoulders.. Well in this case it just sat on the head. (too make it simple ITS BULKY) - Perhaps SONY forgot to mention Big Daddy Bass ... Coz this Headphone is all Bass and very little Treble. - 10 bucks say .. You wont be able to master the controls on this thing easily ... - Once you hook these HP with a cable to your phone .. Your device controls the volume . So in other words if your phone has a pathetic output even on max volume .. Tough Luck.. - Attached to a cable and listening to music .. made me say over and over again .. Kill Me Now ... It has a loudspeaker option so that you can switch between Headphone OR go for a loudspeaker.. Which to be honest sounds much better So all in all an Expensive not up to the mark product from Sony was disappointed with this one.
