this is one of the best headphones at this price . nice carry bag included along with a 1.6m extension cable and a one quarter inch adapter . whats good :- the build is nice and feels strong enough , the sound stage is awesome the mids are crystal clear cuz there is not bass hump , the highs are nice too . the sound is in brighter and lighter side , not dark or laid back . i would have given my head-fi review but flipkart wont allow . whats bad :- dont have much of the bass if you are a bass head you wont love the bass , has some microphonic sound , and has some heating problem . should you buy this :- yes you should if you are looking for a new mid range headphone and dont want huge bass . its a 9/10 for you . no , if you want bass , its not like it dont have bass but it dont do bass like hd203 or xb300 . tune it with some equalizer and it will be okay . its a 7/10 for you cuz it wont let you down in the other part of the spectrum . its a 8.5/10 for me , i love it , you will love it too .

Pros - Amazing Clarity of Music,irrespective of the genre. Highs,mids,lows are very very clear, you don't miss anything. 'Audiophile level' good. - Noise Isolation very impressive. Also, minimal sound leakage. - Very Comfortable and cover your ears(I have large ears). - Look Sexy, ruggedly built. - More than sufficient volume for portable players. - No sweating or heating problems. Cons - Only major con is bass-lovers might not get punched on their heads with mind-numbing bass.But I use SRS Audio Sandbox, more than makes up for the bass, they sound unbelievably good with the Sandbox, if still you find the bass lacking, go for pocket amps such as Fiio E6 or better go find some other headphone. - The covering on ear pads is not very impressive. Its comfortable and soft, but I fear it might wear off in some time. Hasn't been a long time since I have been using them, but I would recommend them to anyone who wants justice to be done to the music he listens to. You can literally go on listening for hours once who have them on. So, go get 'em. Cheerio!

First off, the delivery by flipkart was nice as always. Got the product in 3 days. Wrapped nicely in layers of bubble wrap. Now about the heaphones: PROs: Great noise isolation Highs, mids and lows are very balanced. Nothing ever 'Pinches your ears'. Durable design, I stepped on the cable, disconnecting it from the source, but no loose ends or any damage. The cable is made of high quality rubber and is thick enough to last long enough Leatherite cushions provide great softness and noise isolation. The cushions are pretty durable. The design is an eye candy. The shiny, metallic plastic looks sleek and the plastic of the overall build is also sturdy with thick 'rubber textured' plastic. Extension cable provided, allows you to watch movies easily while resting back on the sofa or bed. Nice carry pouch with a classy sennheiser logo embossed on the bottom part. Gold plated Jacks. 3.5 mm Adapter provided. Overall, nice and crystal clear sound quality. CONS: The Leatherite cushions don't allow air to freely pass and hence, make the ears hot and sweaty after 35-40 mins.. The cups are a bit small, instead of being wide, they are vertically long. If you have big ears, you might have a bit of trouble sticking them in. But its not a very big problem, as you won't have such large ears probably. The bass is not one you expect from headphones of this price. It doesn't punch your ears. But still, its 'okay'. But it could have surely been better. Its a little bit flat. The cord is not detachable from the headphones. The volume is not very loud if you play them using iPods, iPhones, iPads, MP3s etc. as they require quite some power to drive the drivers. But don't worry, you would never need sound so loud anyway. I never felt that volume is low or I could have used higher volume. Its just that its low in comparison to other cans. But provide good output with computers, AMPs and other direct sources. OVERALL, I AM PRETTY SATISFIED WITH THIS PURCHASE. I RECOMMEND GETTING THEM. THESE ARE SEMI HIGH AUDIOPHILE GRADE HEADPHONES

Pros: Overal happy with the performance, crisp n clear sound, comfortable for ears even after long hours of listening, ear cups are big enough, light weight. Cons: Poor bass. Built quality is not that great, looks like a cheap plastic headphone which costs around 500 bugs. Headphone carry case is a joke :( Noise cancellation is average

If you want to enjoy melody and pure laid back natural music then go ahead. I like slow melody songs and vocals so i bought this. This was my first ever around the ear headphone This produces natural music. You will listen that natural instrument music in your ears. You will feel as if there are 10 ear cups around your head that are producing natural sounds. Good for melody instruments like guitar,violin,flute you will feel someone is actually playing them. Totally no for electronic/bass music.Small wire which is awesome Not really great build quality. Pouch is a joke.Do not know how to use it.No volume control. Works with my ipod nano 7th gen. These are around the ear headphones and dont expect noise isolation like an inside the ear canal earphone. Alternative are a Shure S640 and audio technica M50(dont exactly remember these model numbers.I did lot of research before buying these senn. These 2 are for audio monitoring purpose and senn are for casual listening.Also dont know where you can find these 2 alternatives in india and their service centres. ) Bottom line, forget all the cons, it is pure music that matters.

amazing crystal clear sound with ample bass and perfect treble...you cannot get any good quality headphones at this price range...i just got the product...and thanks to amazon for their packaging...it delivers sound like heaven...sennheiser is always a best option for headphones...they know sound best...

I have been waiting for a month or so as to know about the headphone performance whether I have made a good decision. I dont believe in investing huge amount of money on electronic products as we are in the digital world and each product you buy; a better upgrade will be available in 6 months time. So be it a mobile phone, a headphone or any damn electronic product.So many of them might be thinking as to why I had invested 4K+ for a headphone! Here is why:I brought this phone for my job. I am in medical transcription so I need to hear the exact words clear and crisp to transcribe the audio dictation!!. Now many of you out there will be mocking as to why such an expensive phone when headphones under 300 bucks gets the job done.Comfort, the cups sits right over your ears, in fact your whole ear can easily fit in the ear cups provided unless you have Gandhiji kinda ears.Also, the better pads are more comfortable if you are listening for extended hours and you will never know this is on your ears as it is very light.Brand,warranty, reliability and satisfaction, Sennheisers have their brand value, you get 2 years warranty, is very sturdy and above all satisfaction.You hear even the minutest sound if its there in music. It so happened when doctors was giving the dictation of medical reports, there was a song which was running in the background and the doctor gave a 30 second pause and guys the song which was playing in the background was like as though I am listening to a song connected to my laptop with my old earphone. So jUst you imagine if you want to use these headphone for music or watching movies connected to your phone/computer/telivision/ipod/tablet ! what kinda music satisfaction you can expect.Excellent balance of bass/midrange/treble. You never get the sense that there is too much of any particular frequency, in other words, it never seems overly bright, or recessed, or overly bassy - unless, of course, the actual recording is that way.What about the cons now, if you might ask.:If you wear glasses then you will have try it out to check, if this correctly fits as this headphone cover your ears and the alternative option is that you will have to invest on contact lens.Ears does get irritated after few hours of continuous use and you have to slide the ear pad for fresh air as your ears start sweating if no AC around.Bass lovers will not enjoy this headphone as it is not so so great on the bass, you could check out some sony or Audio technica in a similar range.It is not a noise cancellation but noise reduction headphone, if you are in loud environment; you do get to hear outside noise and the audio slightly leaks if the volume is set to high.Thanks guys for reading my review, I hope with my review you can make a good decision favourable to you.

I purchased this headset after a long research and expects much more from it but when first I used it I felt cheated.After spending such a huge price of 4.5K I hv not get the quality up to the mark.Pros: 1)Simple but attractive design.2)Extension chord provided is very useful.3)Comes with an additional 6.3 mm jack.4)Comfortable over ear.I listen continuously for 3-4 hours and it is very comfortable.CONS:1)Bass us very low.I have JBL headset also.Although that is very cheap(I brought it for Rs 800) but its bass is much better than HD 449.2)Noise cancellation is very bad.If u r listening music in a room with 10-15 peoples u still b able to listen their talks.3)Volume is very low.If u want to listen ur favourite song u have to increase the volume of ur device to full.

After a lot of research bought this head phone, my 1st premium one. Honestly, I was not amused hearing it for the first time. But slowly the head phones grow up on you. Soon you quickly realize how clear the audio in this one is. How the cheaper ones blur the clarity. Every tone is heard, distinct. No bass, never felt a thump.Not a very sturdy build, but thats because its flexible and light. Very light and comfortable.Carry pouch is good addition.Buy it only if you really want to have a very high quality head phones which dissects your music. Not for the faint heart!
