This is very bad. The oroginal battery has gone bad within 10 months within the purchase of this S Duos 2 mobile. The original battery costs arounf 1500 Rs now.
Good Phone but you can find better phone under this price.

After using one Month I am writing this review.
1. Build quality:- 3.5/5 --> Build quality is good same like other Samsung other galaxy series.
2. Processor:- 3/5--> Processor is ok. sometimes Lag or hang because of low ram but most of the times it is working fine.
3. Camera:- 4/5 --> Camera for this mobile is quite good at day time but night time with flash you can take good pictures. Video recording is also good.
4. Touch response:- 3.5/5 --> Touch response is quite good(butter-smooth). Typing is quite good.
5. Sound:- 3.5/5 --> Sound is crystal clear. You will be able to listen good music in loudspeaker and headphone mode as well. Voice call quality is very decent as it is having some other extra options like Clear sound/soft voice etc.
This is a good phone under the 11K budget. But if you are heavy gamer then this is not useful for you because of Low internal memory. So please before buy think once as this is your hard earned money :)

I ordered this phone from Flipkart on 23rd March and it was in my hands on 25th.
I did very extensive research before buying this phone, asked friends, went to different mobile shops to experience it and compare prices. I had no restriction of budget but I did not want to go above 12000 as I did not require any super amazing features like a 42 megapixel camera or a large screen or even an extensive gaming mobile.
Some of my requirements were that the phone should be handy and not have slate like screen which you cannot hold in one hand and which possibly doesn't fit in your pocket, clear voice quality and reliable brand name.
Galaxy core was cut from my list as it did not fit my hand as comfortably as s duos 2 did.
I also researched on Xperia M but I it could not survive on my list as I personally did not like its design and I also believe Samsung is sturdier than Sony phones and I am not into fragile screens and delicate body.
So after extensive research for around one week I ordered Duos 2.
The phone arrived and was in perfectly sealed condition and it was a pleasant surprise to operate it. During my research I had read somewhere that the touchwiz interface of Samsung can make the phone lag and we should change it to nova launcher . . I did it and It is super smooth.
Soon I began downloading games like Temple Run and Subway Surf and they are working butter smooth like they do on iPhone.
One major concern to me was the fast draining battery of this phone.. I would charge it all night and by evening it was done to 5 percent with minimal use. . So again here I downloaded DU battery saver from Google play store and changed the mode to 'long' also don't forget to optimize it from time to time. Another valuable tip that I got from a S4 user was to never charge the phone battery above 85% it is lethal to do that and you would swell your battery faster than ever if you daily charge your battery to 100%. I immediately paid heed to her suggestion and I don't know why but my battery seems to run longer when I charge max till 85%, try it.
Google Now works really beautifully and I am amazed by the leap in technology in the last few years.
One more thing that is important is to not overload the mobile with apps that you don't use instead keep only the apps that you use at least daily so as to make your mobile work smoothly. Also install an antivirus and keep an eye on the websites you visit and make sure they are not malicious. And clear the RAM plus end all the applications before you start playing a game. . which helps immensely on not only running the game smoothly but also conserves the battery. Also don't forget to reduce the screen brightness to save battery.
Camera is also pretty nice. . Although I did not need a great or even a good camera as I already own a DSLR but this phone has a nice camera which is of course very handy and will not make me miss any moment where I do not have my canon.
Great music player - Google music makes it even better experience and bright screen are some of the things that I like about this phone. Right now I cant think of any major cons (except battery) but will edit it if I come across some negative points of this phone in the near future (which I hope I do not)
All in all, this can't be better with Filpkart giving it in 8829/- the least in the market (9800,9600 everywhere) Flipkart has captured the market and the mobile store owners are petrified of it . . one or two even told me that Flipkart sells fake stuff and stuff from grey market but had this been the case Filpkart would not have had millions of satisfied users. Also not to forget you get 100% money back guarantee within 30 days of purchase. (Would it give this guarantee had it been selling fake stuff? ) think for yourself and don't let go of this deal. . Heck of a phone and its a steal of a deal ! go grab it!
THE BEST IN ITS RANGE...

I have recently bought one and according to me all the features that Samsung have included in this new model at this price is awesome. What more do you want at this price!! The 5MP camera with led flash is good, but not as good as Nokia's Lumia low budget phones. 768 MB Ram is better if you like gaming but the OS and background apps occupy most of it. The internal memory is 4GB, out of which 2GB is occupied by the OS and other services. Sound quality is also good. The phone supports 720p videos but not 1080p videos.
The main problem with this set is that, although it has got 1500 mAh battery, it drains out very quickly, specially if you are using internet. While browsing in 3G network, the battery hardly lasts 6 hours. With dual 3G Sim support, a better battery could have been provided by Samsung. However, even though it comes with 1.2 GHz processor, the system gets a bit slow and sometimes gets hanged.
So as whole I would suggest that if you are looking for a smart phone around Rs 9000, then this is the best in the lot with so many features.

4 days back i purchased this waste phone (Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 S7582), now regretting.
Power backup is very poor, like a timer watch battery is draining.
It can be only use like land-line phone connecting with charger all the time.
Highly disappointed.
I think it is even cant used like land-line phone due to heat while charging.
I dont know how this product got released into market without testing.
I Strongly oppose this product.
Waste of Money.

Wanted to buy a smartphone that did something more than just receiving calls, for my mom, who isn't tech savvy.This was the ultimate choice.Now she sends and receives messages with ease... chats on whatsapp... checks emails... browses on youtube for recipes... use google maps and navigation... all this she has learnt starting from scratch...Didn't like the battery life though... had to replace it within a year of purchase...

They sent original phone in original unopened packaging. Only one suggestion- packaging quality should be improved though it is adequate for now.Overall superb experience with amazon. I was a flipkart guy but Amazon has made me their permanent customer.One suggestion to customers- always see the rating of retailers .

Hd videos are supported in this phone. Android 4.2.2 , 4 Gb internal with around 2 gb for usage & expandable memory upto 64gb & 768mb ram on the box but 717 mb ram in the phone but still no issues of hanging i face.If you want budget & featured pack phone than my advice to you to go with this device , i dont think you'll regret after buying this beauty.

Ofcourse it does not have super processing power and RAM but these should not be neative as they will not be one to one comparison. I strongly recommend it. Would have been more happey if I got a flip cover.The headsets that come with product is very decentCamara lives up to quality. The added LED is a big boon compared to many other phones which misses this feature.

A 10500/- rupees phone at 8300/- rupees is a sweet deal.DELIVERY : Delivery was really fast. Unbelievably fast. Packaging was unprofessional though. There was no Bubble Wrap which i was expecting. I could even see inside the pack from corners. Packaging was not good at all.CONCLUSION : Buy this phone its good.
