I didn't liked this dvd player at all.It didn't play many of the CDsIt is only compatible with mp3 but not with any mp4 devices which means no videos can be played by this dvd.Though it was my mistake that I didn't saw the specification of this product and bought ItI wanted a dvd which can play everything.I thank to Amazon that they have returned my dvd player

This product fully duplicate .only loge paste which is offence of PHILIPS COMPANY.No one can buy this product. HD format and mkv format can't support.which preview in showing but in physically show very different in function.last as say anyone can purchase to contact first seller confidently than purchase.
so the functions which depend on usb like creating mp3

usb drive recognises usb but not read contents..so the functions which depend on usb like creating mp3, etc...of no use..u can look for another cheaper products which does not have usb port instead of this product.... i dont think it has multidisc (only upto 2 plays) memory to play from where it has ended..however remote control and other playback function is good...
Great dvd player

Plays the mp3 songs really smoothly and clearly. Only problem was the wire. Wire gets disconnected automatically if it shakes or moves. Otherwise a great dvd player

worth for money, exellent product.every thing is there as i expected.good sound quality.if any one intend to purchase,with out anyhasitation you can go forward. thanks a lot to philips and to amazon. Their service is outstanding.Only drawback i notice is there is no user manual with this.please provide this in future.
Worst experience with GEPL. Unethical business people in the world.

Don't ever buy any product from GEPL. They simply send you defective piece and when you contact they will tell that their policy does not accept defective one. For a compliment they will ask you to repair the product in your local service center. As you had paid money for doing this. I think Flipkart should really consider throwing this kind of seller out, otherwise flipkart will loose its good impact among online buyers.
They are not eligible even for one star but if i dont click the rating, I could not able to submit the review.

I would rate my experience in 2 parts:-
1> Flipkart
Excellent - absolutely satisfactory & fast - quite satisfied - no second thought
2> Product
I had been using Philips DVP3140 (US bought - Dec 2007) & frankly I was quite happy with it until it started showing deterioration in terms of reading disks - At times it would, other times it wont read the disks - Unsuccessful reads increased a lot & hence I thought to replace it.
We use DVD player nearly everyday for around 2 hours.
Considering the price, quality & service provided by this product I thought of going to Philips again. So I chose DVP3608 - as it was the most economical at the time of my purchase (Sony was around 500 bucks costlier).
I found DVP3608 low in quality (remote was quite low in standards - I literally need to push it hard). At times it wont even take ur command altogether!!
It would at times take 10 to 15 seconds to initialize (ie. once u put in the disc in the drive til it shows the menu) - especially for DVDs
Within 3 months of purchase it started showing disc read errors (At times it wont read the disc that it used to every other day).
It would at times take time to start the DVD MP3 - Press the play button & wait for 5 seconds before you do anything else (Yes! 5 literal seconds).
Though I never experienced interrupted playback (ie. once the disc starts playing, it would play well) from this device till date - good part :)
I never tried rough/pirated/low-quality DVD/CD/VCD so cant comment about the stress evaluation of the product...
I am not sure which all formats are accepted by the pen-drive - I tried few AVIs, MPEGs, MP4s - none got recognized & then I really didnt pay attention to try out more...
Overall Verdict : Would strongly suggest to invest few more bucks & try higher versions or may be go for a different brand

The delivery schedule is very good, it's comes within 24 hour, DVD player performance is good but it's not play all the format like MP4 & 3gp. it's only play mpeg format file & MP3 JMPEG.I think it should be upgrade it's format to better perforemance. But in this price its good.

Please do not make the mistake of buying this DVD player. It plays only region 5 and nothing else. The product information is misleading because it does not mention this. So most of the DVDs cannot be played.
I have been a regular customer with Flipkart and this is the first time their service has been pathetic.
