Received the order within 48 hrs of placing the order.
After using it for a fair amount of time here is my review of considering my personal experience regarding my usage.
PROS:
1) REALLY SMALL IN SIZE, AND HENCE CAN FIT IN ANYWHERE.
2) COMES REALLY CHEAP CONSIDERING THE FEATURES IT HAS ESPECIALLY THE DOCKING FACILITY.
3) PLAYS ALMOST ALL DISCS AND FILE FORMATS, COMES IN HANDY WHILE PLAYING DVD's.
4) FAIR NUMBER OF SERVICE CENTER OPTIONS.
5) HAS NUMBER OF SOUND PRESETS, GOOD BASS.
6) IDEAL FOR SMALL ROOMS OR LIGHT BEDROOM MUSIC.
CONS:
1) SOUND ISN'T THAT CRISP AND LACKS TREBLE.
2) ONLY THE SUPPLIED SPEAKERS CAN BE CONNECTED TO IT, NO OTHER PORTS PROVIDED FOR CONNECTING EXTERNAL SPEAKERS.
3) MAXIMUM VOLUME MAY NOT BE WHAT YOU MAY EXPECT TO BE WHEN HOISTING A SMALL PARTY.

I was having very limited usage of a sound system. Thought of having 5 channel home theater but its difficult to place all the speakers.
Than i searched this item. Confirmed all the featurs with call center of flipkart and decided to purchase it.
Its a good product. Small in size but high on features. Sound quality is very good and gives good sound to dance on a big room as well.
If you are reserved in your budget, go for it.

You get a lot of bang for the Buck with this Music System.
Its good looking, Plays DVD, USB, MP3, Ipod/Iphone and has FM as well. :) However dont expect it to work with your Lightning to 30 pin adapter (for Iphone 5 and ipod Touch 5th Genration), it didn't work for me, however read online in forums and realised its an issue with the adapter itself. :(
The sound is nice and thumpy, but don't expect it to blow you away.
Overall a very good value for money buy for someone who is looking for a decent sounding dock at a reasonable price.

Philips music systems are generally good if not outstanding and this system is no exception. It produces good quality sound at low to medium volume and the picture quality in DVD / VCD viewing is particularly good. Bass is generally ok. Sound tends to crack at high volume. Recommended for someone who spends some of the leisure time by listening music and viewing movies....it is not for connoisseurs of music. Good value for money.

There is no feature available to fast forward ( 1x,2x,4x...)while playing DISC , only option available is to jump to next chapter not good for downloaded movies from net.
Remote most of the time doesn't work.
USB no usable , cant read MP3 contents, Played it on my laptop works fine.
Better to buy sony

Apart from the known sound quality of Philips for years together, I have gone for this model due to it's feature of Sleep timer. I am in habit of listening to music when I go to bed. However, due to sleep timer, I can set the off time and sleep well, without fearing that I will have to wake up to switch off the set.
It's size perfectly suits my bed room.

Cons: old product, bass very less, hollow sound, better products in market
It may be because that I had a system worth more than 60k that I feel this way. But I get better sound (even) from my headphone. Bass is the big problem here since any increase in volume leads to hollow noise where it should have been low end growling from a heavy woofer. Treble handling is ok. I do get a good sound stage.
It looks good, but you may want a bigger system.
If you have a computer or a USB stick, and is not much into collecting DVDs, go for a multimedia speaker system. It will have much better bass and will price less. I saw one in Reliance digital, of Sony which is run on USB sticks, the sound was much better.
Anyway it is your call. But if you are into video, may be this is a good buy.
Note: I bought it online because of the extra discount of 1000Rs from Reliance Digital. Now I think I should have heard it before and taken a decision. Cons of Online purchasing!
