Ridiculous TV and Ridiculous services from Philips

Don't buy any product of philips in India. They don't have spare parts of any product. My Philips LED TV stopped working in less than an year and i got really pissed off by repeatedly calling their customer care and managers. They will just give you false assurances of it getting fixed in 24 hours but will actually take more than a month to fix it.

The Amazon site does not mention this.Secondly, Philips charges an additional Rs 1200 for installation of the TV which should be taken into account while comparing cost against dealers who install this free.Thirdly, there is no improvement in viewing an HD channel compared to the normal channel - BOTH VIEWINGS ARE JUST THE SAME WITH NO PERCEPTIBLE DIFFERENCE. If you buy this TV, do not subscribe to HD channels at extra cost as there is no benefit.

Pathetic company

Do not buy Philips TV or any Philips product. Their after sales service is zero. I'm stuck with a dead Philips TV , which is just 2 years old, and under a maintenance contract.They are simply not responding to service calls. Their call centre is useless and unable to give any timeframe for the repair. 20 days and still waiting for a response from philips.Useless Philips TV. Useless Philips company. Pathetic service.

Cons : It does not support MKV file format while running in USB. Amazon says its HD Ready, But actually its upport 1080 Pixels.Pros : Its Philps. So nothing to worry on Clarity also Bass is too good when comparing to other TV. Overall performance is awesome Worth for this Price I love It :)
