Not the same kind of quality you would love when one bought a Panasonic product 10 years back. The product works alright, but then again the cost is on the higher side when compared to India brands, which would offer at par quality for similar price; you can make that out by the quality and finish of the plastic.Since its does the job of rice cooker and looks alright; I am okay with it overall; but it carrying a Panasonic brand and Panasonic advertising Japan Premium and costing a little more seem to be mismatch.
Good but could be better

Overall good but two problems.1. The pan is very light and not too durable, it is not non-stick. You have to use this grill plate thing to prevent rice burning or sticking at bottom.2. The pattern design is different than the one shown. It's some red flowers, not green and red. But the design looks alright.

Better Quality - Scope for further refinement

The performance is good. There could have been some handles in the design. Dew collector is good. The removal of lid for cleaning purpose is quite difficult; some tools could have been provided. The electrical connector could have been interference fit; somewhat loose.
Rice cooker ... good buy

The delivery of the rice cooker took more time than we anticipated... It was a good deal though.. We have started using and no complaints.. The sore point is that we had to chase Snapdeal to understand the applicability of warranty.. Snapdeal should proactively bring out warranty details on products sold..
Issue with cooking

Somehow the piece I got is not working. When I switch on the power only "Keep Warm" light is on. Even after putting the pan with rice as per the instructions, not able to cook. "Cooking" light is not switching on. Looking for replacing the item.

I do not recommend anyone to buy this product. the Steaming basket is not included although you pay double the price than a normal rice cooker. worst, Panasonic has done nothing to help its buyer by providing any booklet that help with how this product can be used. something like a recepie booklet.
