Powerful... Jar should be little shorter width. We can not grind if we try with less quantity. Since width is high all particles remain under the blade if the quantity less
Great from the price, flawed dome cap

Good mixie with one major flaw.The small cap on the dome of the liquidiser is not secure. The dome cap itself is snug, so as you try to remove it, the little cap (which lets you add more liquid from the top without opening the dome cap) pops out. If that falls and cracks, you are in trouble unless you replace the dome lid. There should have been a click-clock kind of mechanism like in the earlier Oster mixies. Didn't expect this from a brand like Oster, which has been around for several decades.Blades are great. So is the steel body and handle. As loud as any other mixie (I also have a supposedly silent one, but that's just a claim). Grinds masala, chutney and dosa batter well in no time at all.Great price

Bought this in a deal after reading lot of good reviews. One thing which was missing in all the reviews - This mixer is louder than an airplane engine. While the quality of mixing and chopping was good, two of the pots died down eventually and became useless. Thanks to Amazon, connected us with the Oster customer care, who very promptly replaced both the pots without asking any questions. This mixer apparently has 2 yrs warranty which helped. If you can use ear plugs while using this, nothing else is wrong with this mixer.

Great mixer at a great price. It got a powerful motor and it does the job quickly compared to other mixers.Only problem is the SOUND compared to the Panasonic mixer i have. When you compare the price , it is more than double for a 550W. I bought this as a standby to use till i get my Panasonic mixer serviced(under warranty). Now, this is the primary mixer at home as it does the job faster.If you dont care about the sound it makes, go for it.

this a 750w against 450w of other brands. takes 1/4 time to grind as against other ones and no tension of motor burning. comes with 3 stainless steel jars of good quality.Not really suited for a 1-2 person household those guys avoid you will only complain. households with 5-10 people buy this bindly.
