This AC was purchased on 2nd June and is a defective piece. I have been trying since June 2015 to take care of the problem. Technician visited and said your transformer is defective. I replaced the transformer but the problem is not solved. The persons sitting on the customer care helpline are so negligent and careless they don't acknowledge the problem. Recently on 22nd August same problem was reported and after numerous reminders 1 engineer visited after 10 days and assured for replacing the defective part within 2 days but he also disappeared and no one is responding from Onida. There is no use of purchasing the A/c of such a reputed brand who claims to be one of the best service provider in the industry. I alarm all the buyers to refrain from this brand.

ONLY excellent delivery by flipkart. After that extremely poor follow up and response. POOR installation procedure, where i had to make several phone calls to Onida customer care to get AC installed in Hyderabad.really bad experience for installation, took 2 days to install AC, that to after 5 days of delivery. no follow up, nothing from either Flipkart or Onida. Good product at given price, but for me installation was a nightmare. I never expected flipkart to completely ignore such concern from there customers, really disappointing. perhaps got my learning from this experience and will stay away from Flipkart.

Initially I was confused should I purchase AC online since few manufacturers were not providing warranty for online purchase, adding to it this model was not listed in Onida website. Raised a request to Onida with the model number and got confirmation that they are selling this model (known as pebble) exclusively via flipkart and I can buy. Also Installation will be done by Onida engineers and warranty will be covered. Delivery was prompt and got message from Flipkart that installation was scheduled so I don't have any follow up work After lot of research I opted for this model (3 Star) why I went for 3 star, I was told by a sales executive of reputed shown room if it is for home use 3 star AC is advisable from pricing perspective since AC will run for max 6 - 8 hours. Coming to AC Performance: Superb cooling, I am setting the temp at 26 C and room of 130 sq ft gets cooled in 5 to 10 min with turbo mode on. Looks: elegant looks does not spoil the room environment, Also indoor unit is sleek and weight just 8 Kgs Power consumption: I currently use it for 5 hours and power consumed is ~ 6 units per day Noise: Both indoor and outdoor units operate quietly can't hear much noise and provides a comfortable sleep. Condensor: The other area which worried me should I go for Alloy or Copper. There were news that Copper is always better that alloy due to heat exchange and life however Copper condensor is costly. when this product was available at right pricing went for it Overall satisfied with the AC. TOTAL COST SPENT Bought it for 22990... Again for stabilizer (1500rs) and installation (1500) i had to pay... So total cost is 26000 appox.... I wont get such ac in market for such a low price... Comparatively i saved 4000rs. INSTALLATION Recived the product on the 3rd day from date of purchase. Service person frm onida service center called me the nxt day and was installed on the 5 th day.... Guys its wise to buy 3 pin 16 ams plug b4 calling the service men for installation..... PERFORMANCE it comes with copper coil, which s added advantage.... Remote has a led light display, so u need not to switch on light in night time.... Cooling is awesome... No probs in it.... Indoor unit comes with no noise but condenser noise level is bearable. CONS No control over horizontal swing in remote. Only vertical swing can be controlled using remote. Initially it takes little time to cool the complete room. Once it does. Its ok...
