Giving it a benefit of doubt - I will give piece specific feedback. In this particular piece, the water is spilling out from the top (back) of the kettle , down to the base charge/element on boiling. I have filled the kettle to half it's capacity and still it is happening.I have not kept the original packaging and hence cannot return it , though I would definitely like a replacement.

Its a good product. I like it. Specially there is small lid to cover the part where the water is poured. Its made of steel so no issue with the repeated heating. my previous kettle was of plaster and the pouring part melted after approx. 6 months because of hot water pouring. its a good product.

The black top is plastic. Not sure if it’s safe due to the excessive heating. Also, fitting/fixing the flask bit onto the heating part is not easy. One has to be careful. Overall, somewhat difficult and complicated to use. Cable is too short.
