A cool phone to have in this price bracket
By Bumble Beeon
I purchased this phone back in February and has been using this till now. I guess its time to write a review about this. In short, I liked this phone very much. A good buy at this price.+Low price+Hardware specs are cool.+2GB ram with 16GB internal and microSD card support.+5.5" screen is cool and can watch videos.+Cynagen+No issues observed with call voice clarity and signal reception. Tried with multiple carriers.+As always amazon rocked in delivery. Got the phone inside 48 hours.=Stills are good but not great=The pixel density could have been made better.=Around 5 persons in my office have this phone. All very enthusiastic users and none have reported any issues-Battery life is not great if you have data and wifi on. They could have increased the capacity of the battery a bit.-2 days back ran into a problem with the Gyro sensor, tilts and rotation was not getting picked up by apps. A factory reset did resolve the issue.

Well, I didn't update after reading the reviews.. So can't comment on lollipop... But glad I had the courage to buy this..Well, I'm a geek with HTC explorer rooted, cyanogened and did all other buggiest things in my phony .. Since I now work a busy job,I didn't want to mess with buggy things anymore... but did buy this anyway.1. No proximity issue for me2. No heating issue and compared to moto G2 -this is nothing and no , can't use it as an iron box or heater.... Seems paid reviewers or maybe lollipop users3. Graphics are totally cool.. Gta vice city played with full graphics settings without a lag.. One of the important factor, I bought this .. Graphics for my studies..4. front camera takes cool pictures in stock camera app5. All cyanogen features.6. Using inbuilt Privacy guard(which I adore) , i disabled all "keep awake" from Google apps -saves some battery.7. 30000+ on the antutu beating HTC one1. Camera 13mp is weak -no optical stabilisation , image looks blurred.. grainy. If I change settings to 5mp in "open camera"it looks bearable. Flash gives that bluish tinge ...(the glass(or sticker) covering the camera is a little blue, with the flash so close to the camera... Maybe that's why) ... not in the mood to rip up the hardware - I'm not a photographer to begin with.. So it's pretty much okay for me.-37 second video RECORDING costs 89 MB '.. Quality okay.2. For my use(screen on 4+ hours browsing to intensive GPU ), battery drains 100 to 40 in 9 to 5 pm3. No apps to SD4. No obb to SD... Android/data stays in internal memory.5. One more smartphone of my life without a compass'..All in all glad I bought.. And Thank my God for giving Me this..PS: use a professional to use paste that screen guard.. Seriously, I've been trying to do this like Forever with different phones and still bubbles..UPDATE: September 9,2016Updated to Lollipop recently...( Not rooted till; not planning on it either)1. No battery issues2. No proximity issue for me3. In fact, Just no major issues.. I did get one random screen lock in like ten days... Nothing much.Cons:1.Dynamic screen enhancement (which was in KitKat) is gone .. Colors are totally bland..(but will get used to: Anyway, that's how other phones look)2. YU split upgrades into YU Open OS and Cos... Still not getting marshmallow OTA. You should root to get YU marshmallow... But am waiting for cos 13 or even YU OTA, which will be much better than rooting etc..
Many issues after using for 3 months and Pathetic Service
By Sujith Krishnaon
I have used this product for 75 days or so and I have started facing issues. The charger provided with the phone stopped working in 60 days. I did not want to take the pain of going to replace it and I had many chargers of the same type. After 70 days phone stopped charging and think it is because of a lose contact.Yureka does not have any Brick and morar service center. I called up amazon intially. The amazon representative gave me the number of yureka service center. The call center people as expected were rude and had to call 2 times to make them understand the issue. They have promised to replace the handset after a long discussion but they told me that my area is serviceable and the service will take a minimum of 20 working days. This means i have to stop using my phone for close to a month. Well the phone is of cheap quality and priced low. Because of this you can almost be sure that you will have issues within a few months of buying. There is no service to support and this phone wont be serviced in a normal MicroMax service center. Better buy something that has a good service presence. Please dont fall pray to such products that sell only because of hype
Do Not Buy this

Dialler and touch of phone is dull ....it takes few seconds for dialler to open....touch is also not as good as others like zenfone 2 and k3 note.....otherwise a good phone.I am using Yureka 6 mth. now. Re cieved 12.1 cyanogen update. Dialler has improved. Touch has also improved.New problems have arisen. Phone has started to hang frequently. At least 4-5 times a day. Sometimes when trying to receive the call or trying to dial the call....phone shuts down suddenly and restarts after a long time. I did hard reset. Problem remains.Customer service does not picks phone. It has few service centers . My advise.....don't buy this.....go for zenfone. Or K3 note
Waste of money.

Phone's motherboard died during official update when the warranty was over. Micromax, as expected, refused to honor warranty. This was more than a year ago. I'm writing this review now because even though the phone's production is supposedly discontinued, micromax service center refuses to give a quote for that motherboard (which shouldn't cost more than 500 in my opinion given that the phone has bad quality and they just rebranded a coolpad f2)
