canvas ego(A113) is the worst mobile with lot of hardware issues camara quality is as low as 3mp of other mobiles,battery bakup is very poor ,sound automatically increases if any msg comes while listning to FM,battery becomes very hot.it blinks around the screen of mobile is switched off and on

Really A Good Phone

This phone is really a good product by Micromax. I am using this phone since last 15 days and in my opinion, this is the best phone of Micromax ever I used. Here there are some pros and cons of this phone:-
Pros:-
1. It has the quad core 1.2 GHz processor and 4 GB ROM which makes it smooth
operable.
2. The touch screen is awesome.
3. The front and rear cameras are really good. It has 8 MP rear and 2 MP front camera.
the picture quality is really good. Although I have used Samsung Galaxy Grand, I liked
the picture quality and resolution of Micromax Canvas A113.
This is a reasonable answer for the Micromax-haters who say that Micromax makes
the products of poor quality.
4. It has the RAM of 1 GB (In actual practice 835 MB which is much better than Sam-
sung Galaxy Grand which has only 805 MB of RAM).
5. Although the volume level through speaker is less but the sound quality through the
provided Micromax earphone is really fantastic.
6. The design and the ergonomics of this phone is very good. This is very slim phone
of 4.7 inch screen, easy to handle and stylish.
7. The color presentation by this phone is also very good. It is much better then the Sam-
sung Galaxy Grand.
8. This phone doesn't hanged during the operation of the heavy applications.
Cons:-
1. The battery is only of 2000 mAh which is somehow less for this phone. This should be
of 2500 mAh (Samsung Galaxy Grand has the battery of 2100 mAh). But the battery
backup is good. Even I used to play high graphics games.
2. The flip-cover is neither provided by the Micromax nor available in market.
3. The volume level from the speaker is not that much high.
4. It doesn't support 1080p videos by the video player but this can be solved by download-
ing of MX-Player which is freely available in Google Store.
At last in conclusion I give 5 stars to this product because It is much better than most of the smartphones available in the market in the price range of 12K-20K.
Go for Canvas HD if you have 1500 rs more.

Using this phone from last 1 week.
Good things about this mobile :
1> Very slick , black color and light weight makes it stylish and easy to handle.
2> Camera Quality is better then what we generally expect from Micromax.
3> Colors very nicely presented. I find it better then Canvas HD in this regard.
Some Not so good things :
1> Not much customization done by micromax in this mobile. Almost every app and features are Stock Android.
2> 1080p videos not supported.
3> Sometimes i feel its not as smooth as it should be.(Quad core+1 gb ram)
4>Music quality is very nice but Volume is very average, may be new set of earphone will boost some sound .
To conclude this review :
Micromax EGO is MUST BUY if u go for looks and want to have a different mobile(almost all mobiles like canvas HD, samsung note, grand etc etc looks same to me).
Performance wise its 8/10.
Rest i will update soon once i test it on more extreme parameters.

This is off-late a new offering from Micromax. Different design as compared to stereotyped canvas design. Very slim & elegant looking with a metal like back plate. Decent config for the price. Don't expect the quality of premium players but for the given price it cannot be any better. Speaker volume is bit on a lower end but good enough.
