Functional large sized refrigerator with huge freezer.Size a bit intimidating at first but one quickly adapts to it.Easy to stack and reach items on shelves.Big freezer a boon if you store a lot of frozen food.Super silent compressor hardly makes a sound.LGs service an added bonus.
Suspect build quality - DOA unit returned

Questions must be raised about build quality when a new unit arrives dead. The unit received had a gas leak on the cooling coil joint, something that requires removal of all inner panels plus an immersion tank check to repair. The fact that greendust has 'dozens' of the same model on stock could be interpreted as an indicator that the Chinese are doing something wrong with what is a very basic oxy-fuel weld. Pity that gas leaks can mar an otherwise aesthetically pleasing fridge. Never got an opportunity to test the 'quiet' linear compressor or humidity retention as have bought the equivalent Samsung model instead.

Decent entry level side by side fridge

The refrigerator was delivered on time by Amazon. However egg tray was not provided, The Amazon representative agreed to contribute Rs 250 gift card in lieu of that However, for that amount one can't expect a decent tray for such huge fridge. Also, please note that installation and demo is not free for online purchases. I was charged Rs 600 plus taxes (In Bangalore), which frankly I don't think is required (There is nothing to install as such, please avoid)The LG Representative said that this model lacks deodorizer (This is not needed also it seems). The user manual supplied is not model specific. Overall, I found the product to be good value for money with good power consumption optimization and huge space.
