Though there was problem with the outer mettalic frame of tv but it was under warranty and LG replaced the screen quickly.

I got it in 41K.
I have been using it for more than a year and no troubles at all.
Plays almost all the formats of the videos which you encounter with on daily basis.
Sound is gud. I heard people say u have to opt for external speakers for this tv but its not like that at all.
Without speaker is fine for a 150 sq ft room.
Overall a nice product. I would recommend to go for it.
Only cons is u its not a smart TV.

This is the first product I from LG. After doing a lot of research for almost 4 months, I bought this product in Oct 2015. Really very nice product. It stands up to the mark to its caption 'Life like colors'. More importantly, Customercare from LG.
During November, my TV was dead due to lightning impact. I called up LG CustomerCare and registered a complaint. They sent technician and replaced the damaged circuit board. This proves that, they care for their customers no matter whether product is purchased from online or retailers. I strongly recommend this TV as well as LG brand as such.

The seller says wall mounting,installation & demo is free. But when you call LG customer care they say there is a charge of Rs.1600.When u call flipkart they say pay for it and u will get it refunded.But till now i m going around circles to get the refund.I bought the TV on 7th May. Flipkart customer care guys don't understand what the issue is.Each time you call them or send email a different guy replies with different reason.
Wall-mount Fixtures ae not free :(

The box did not have wall-mount fixtures. The Installation guy says it has to be purchased separately (INR 1200). Not sure if this is the case if brought from a showroom. Can anyone clarify this?

I was under dilemma whether to go for Samsung or Sony and LG was not at all in the race for quite long time. I used to compare technical details from various sites, user reviews and visited showrooms in Chennai for demo. Even I had negative opinion about LG LED TV based on old models of LG LED TV. I happened watch LG LED TV in one show room and got attracted to picture and price. I have done research for almost 3 months and my friends came to the conclusions that I will never buy TV and will only talk about it forever.
But I was firm on my decisions and gone ahead and ordered Sony 42” with flip kart and during Christmas period (2014) lucrative SCB card discount and exchange offer and it was 20 thousands clear price difference between Sony and LG for same 42 “ size and I couldn't get convinced about the price difference between Sony and LG through excellent picture quality of Sony. Positive user reviews of this LG LED TV ( particular Model) in various sites also boosted my confidence.
20 K is large difference and I decided to buy home theater for the cost and cancelled order of Sony and again ordered LG. I was curious about online purchase and delivery of delicate electrical items and warranty part of LG. Flipkart delivery was prompt ( as usual) and poor response from LG service center but somehow they completed installation wall unit .
With Airtel –HD –DTH and Philips home theater it works fine and I am very much satisfied with the purchase.

Slim and stylish stand
Cons :
Below average sound quality ( better with DTH but not great)
Limited audio out. (only optical o/p and 3.5mm socket)
Only one USB.
I prepared to go with plain –Full HD LED TV and it serves the purpose effectively and it is real value for money . if you have multiple options and opinions and will only end up with confusions. If you like it don’t wait further simply grab it.

But when contacted the LG customer care their executive came to my home and told that they received some instructions that LG People are not going to install the TV's which are purchased through flipkart.... Still calling LG and Flipkart customer care numbers for installation.. As of now hightly disappointed with the installation part.. Not sure why Flipkart mentioned in their website to contact LG customer care for installation...

Very nice.I can't say enough good things about this. It's a perfect size for me and I got it on Amazon when it was Rs. 44,000/-. That's a steal considering the major electronic shops here quoted Rs. 58,000/- for this exact model. The quality is great, and even makes basic, really bad quality cable look decent. I use it with my Apple TV and MacBook Pro, and I don't even need cable. The only thing I'd say is that the sound quality is a bit bad, I have to turn it up to 80-100 to be able to hear any movies I'm AirPlaying from my computer.

Decent volume. Great picture quality. Remote control should have been better in looks. No wall mounting brackets included. No free Installation provided. TV can read by 1TB external HDD. Could not play MKV format videos. Other standard formats are playing fine. User interface like menu and stuffs are good. HDMI connectivity with laptop and mobile is working fine. Value for money

Not a good product...picture clarity is very very poor... probably the seller is not trustworthy ... since lg products are generally of standard quality ... have already got complaints w.r.t clarity of image within few months of purchase .... amazon needs to implement dealers guideline and deliverables ... probably vetting also ... guys do not buy from this seller atleast
