The LG TV delivered to me is manufactured in 2014.
When I place the order on 13th June 2016 I expect a 2016 manufacturerd TV and not an outdated TV.
The year of manufacturing was not mentioned in the product description before purchase. Very unhappy...

The product is living upto the expectations even after 1 week, LED picture quality is good. However the sound quality is 10w whereas my 5year old LCD has got 200w price being the same around that time, so, this makes one drawback. MHL support is good. No lg demo serive was given as they told me that demo service ia only if u have purchased it from showroom.

We actually had a 21" Thomson CRT TV from last 16yrs, which was working well though. However had to change to an LED TV. (Smart & 3D dint seem a real need for me)
With this, I was looking for an LED TV, Full HD b/w 39" - 42" in about 35k - 45k range. I had planned to buy Philips 39" TV for size v/s cost benefit, but it went out of stock on Flipkart.
It was then I looked at LG 42" LB5510 & LB5610 ... I decided on LB5510; as LB5610 was not available on Flipkart in Bangalore.
> It has the same IPS panel seen across all LG TV's which I hear is best/decent enough.
> Awesome viewing experience of full HD LED with 720p & 1080p content.. (Unlike other LED TV's watching 480p contents from non-HD TV channels is not so impressive)
> The TV speakers seemed good to me. I have read about several audio issues in LED TV's, don't know if people are comparing to Bose :-) .... But in this TV the audio was good even with just 15% volume up.
> It has Audio Out with Headphone jack ... I could plug my 2.1 creative speakers to this ... Decent sound for watching movies.
> The USB input could directly read my 1 TB HDD.... This was awesome for me :-)

This product is really worth the money. Picture quality is good. Sound is sufficient for normal use, but if you're looking for great sound , this is not a TV to go for.
As usual, Flipkart rocks with it's discounts and delivery schedule.With Standard shipping itself I got this TV delivered within 24 Hrs.
Only problem I had was dealing with LG service reps. They were arrogant and didn't have patience to explain the features. Over this, he demanded for Rs 200 as Fuel allowance, initially I denied to pay, but ended up paying 100 to them. I will also complain about this in LG grievance portal.

We registered a complaint in lg customer forum and one of the technician came and said there is a issue with led panel, Need to replace it and it costs 21,000. We are surprised we bought this TV on Rs.44918 and only after two years we need to pay 21,000 for led panel repair. Please note we used additional stabilizer also for voltage stabilization. Then how this happens... They made their product in this way. Suddenly after completing the warrently period, problems arise and we need to pay a huge amount for its repair... This is truely cheating !!!
