The flow of water is extremly slow..takes upto 2 hrs to fill up a 10 lt jug. Called up the helpline the support csme once and was told to instal a water pump, the old aquagaurd worked perfectly on the same water piping. Have tried calling 3 times now and no response except for sms updates. Either this is very pooly designed or badly installed. Wastage of electricity due to the slow flow is another disadvantage.

Installation denied by service person. He wanted me to buy pre filter (not necessary) from him for 700 bucks. No response from Kent as well...just 'we are sorry for inconvenience'... Don't buy
Very less water flow

The device is very sleek but the water flow is too less... It takes around 2 mins to fill one bottle

Its was a very prompt delivery and service from amazon, the installation was a sheer inconvenience. The installation guy dropped his drill machine on my kitchen tap and broke it, due to which my entire house was flooded and the water supply for my entire apt building was stopped for 3 hrs. The plumber charged me a good 700 for repairing that tap plus i had to buy a new tap which was another 1600. The whole reason I bought this filter was that I did not want to shell out money for RO as it was not fitting my budget. The installation guy denied all responsibility and instead was ready to fight for it. I contacted the company regarding this and they said they will call back but to no avail and once i called them they registered the complaint but never got back to me. After complete installation the filter is working fine but the process was very tedious and troublesome. I ended up 2300 short of money that i started with which would have gotten me a better filter and also no demonstration, no attachment guide at all. the installer was just trying to run away as fast as he could telling me that, its was very easy to operate and he doesn't need to show anything.
Best purifier for low tds water

Excellent water purifier by Kent. Delivery was quick. Bought from Cloudtail as many buyers had complained they got the used product. Cloudtail sent the brand new one with sealed pack. No damage was found. Delivered on 2nd day. Called the kent care and they arranged the installation within 48 hours.Filter is suitable for low tds water. We had tds level of 105 with raw unfiltered water. Also got prefilter sediment filter to increase the life of uv purifier. Installation was easy and quick.Wasted about 20 ltr of water. Latee no smell. Watee taste is good and not found any problem as of now. Recommended if your water is of low tds level.

Boasts of UV failure alarm which sounds good but what's the use when you'll be calling the service technician after every couple of days, to de-congest the sediment filter. He'll recommend an extra filter with additional cost.
Better buy a sediment filter, carbon filter and a UV Kit online amounting to 400+400+600=Rs 1400/- and make your own inline UV purifier. It will function better.
Exaggerated price even after OFF.
Not recommended.

Extremely disappointed by this product. Got it replaced twice by flipkart but everytime I received a defective product. Kent seriously needs to work on quality control.
I ordered the product on 5th March 2013. After after delayed shipping and multiple followups, I received a defective product. The purifier had a leakage and the installation person informed that one of the cylinders in the product is leaking and I should get the product replaced. I received replacement on 22nd March which was again defective. I am now looking to get purifier from another company. God save Kent!

Its a nightmare when i purchase something from flipkart which requires installation, this product was not installed for more than 6 weeks after the delivery and with great follow up the kent technician landed up and tried to to do a sloppy work, we had to chase him out of our house and inform that kent that the installation is done, this product is yet to be installed as..

Never try purchase this water purification system...i was like under trap by its rating.......it can not be like a simple purifier too......I can see dust the particle in water by my naked eye...I dont understand why i gone for this product.....

5 stars to flipkart for service. Received within 3 days of order, Item received in excellent condition.
Had ordered during the app sale at 4K. The installation guy called but i had already installed it myself.
About product-after using it for 2 months water quality seems good. My earlier aquaguard has been in service for 18 yrs and still running with many things bypassesd. Shifted that to other house and installed Kent. The main housing and internal component housing are made of plastic. Little UV light leakage from coupling, plan to cover that. No internal water leakage.
Cheapest on flipkart. Other price comparable are assembled units. Long term usage and spares costs remains to be seen.
