Basic feature not working

I bought this phone for my spouse. But highly disappointed to see that basic feature is itself not working. If we make calls or receive calls, the screen goes blank and cant do anything.
With great disappointed i returned the phone the next day and now looking for a better phone.

I bought this phone from another e-commerce website. All was well for 3 days. On the fourth day, the phone just hanged with the screen still on and wouldn't respond to anything(not even lock unlock buttons or long press of lock button to shut it down). Since it has a non removable battery, i had to wait the whole night for it to be discharged. Only in the morning could I charge the phone again and turn it back on.
Still for those daring enough to buy this phone, i have some pros and cons
Pros - Great screen, good battery life & Light weight.
Cons - Lag in everything, even bringing down the notifications bar. It says it has a quad core processor, but feels nowhere near it.
Biggest problem as I saw was what happened with me, if the phone hangs and does not respond to anything, you have to wait for it to be discharged.
Worth for cost

I've been using Nokia X6 with Carl Zeiss lens but on symbian platform for last 4 years. I was more than satisfied with my phone for all these years, but I was reading & closely following more & more about technology, as an area of interest. I am 34 now, so was able to control the tempting urge in me, to join the bandwagon of buying latest smartphone. But still I had zeroed in on some phones to be my next phone, I was most interested in Huawei Ascend Mate. Since I find it worthless to spend huge amount for a smartphone I never looked for iPhone & high end Samsung phones as I believe its throwing ur hard earned money if u buy them.Then I found this flagship device of karbonn "titanium X". I liked all specs but wanted more powerful battery backup. I pity those who 40k above phones, but continuously crib about battery & keep charging their phone in offices & everywhere.So even though I didn't need a phone, I saw the cash back offer on amazon, & found great deal on this phone. Actually it was available for 9990, & then 10% cashback. I bought it, & found it to be pleasing, performer, superb hardware from an Indian manufacturer.Only wish I have is more battery backup, though its battery lasts for 1 & half day on avg usage.It is pure android as karbonn didn't changed or altered it. I have Google nexus tab so I can confirm that.Blindly one can go it, it is quite a surprise & efficient deviceDivyadeep

I had purchased the product earlier from amazon.in but the handset had minor issue of camera focus and voice clarity. But I had returned the product, thanks to the excellent return policy of amazon.in. I have again purchased the same cell phone. It is a fantastic deal at this price (rs. 9990 less cash back of citi bank card). The second time, the handset does not have the voice clarity issue and the camera focus issue is also not there. The quality of the cell phone looks to be very good. The screen quality is excellent. The audio output from the speakers is slightly low but clear. The camera quality is good (as compared to 10k rs. cell phone, it is v. good). The front camera is excellent for video chat. The voice of earpiece during phone conversation is ok. Overall features are too good for the price. Best buy at this price. The Amazon's delivery is prompt.

I bought this phone through Amazon... delivery was nice in a nice packing... and with in time .. when i open the box and turn on the device.. i was impressed.. but after three days of uses i realize the phone is leggy when we play high resolution games like temple run or subway surf... and sometimes it is slow in responding... as reviews says camera is ordinary when clicked indoor.. and really good when u take Images outside.... also.. speaker volume is very low... looks are amazing and by holding in hand it feels premium.. screen resolution is very good, colors are crisp and sharp.. touch response is very good. My final reviews after using it for just 3 days.. i am disappointed by speaker volume which is very low and legginess when we play games... and getting slow after short duration . in this price range xolo Q1100 or xolo Q1010i are far better options.update after two months usage:I am not at all impressed by the performance on this phone... the reasons are...1.touch response is not good.. how can a company like karbonn call it a premiumdevice..2. camera quality is just ordinary3. speaker volume is very low... u cant hear ringtones when u are out... lso multimedia voice is very very less4.. it has become more and more laggy.. playing high resolution games is anoying5. i can not get any cover for your phone.. and it is disappointing.

I must say that I am really happy with amazon for its fast genuine product delivery. Talking about product, if we go by spec Karbonn Titanium X is steal @?9,999. But if you go by the actual product performance its worst than any smartphone in market. Its too slow and the benchmark scores are really very low. I would suggest not to buy this phone if your purpose is for gaming and other high-end work. Otherwise you have many smartphones available in market at much cheaper rate. The sound is also too low. Kanbonn should pull back all the sets of this model from market.
