At Rs.3099 do u get a touch screen ??. Its worth the price.
1) Battery life 10/10 good enough will last a day easily. 1300mah sounds little but its demands r low.
2) Screen 7/10. This is a problem, u can get good view only from few angles but at this price u dnt xpect more.
3) Gaming 6/10 . Forget it. temple run 2 lags
4)Internet is very slow.....only 2G.Also,wifi speed very low..
5)Android jelly bean version is real and it supports all apps.
6) Camera 1/10.. it would be bettr if they didnt give a camera :P .. only the flash is useful as a torch.
7)sensor 5/10 working perfectly ...
8) overall smootness : Moderate ....
GO FOR THIS if u need a phone just to call/sms , whatsapp.
dnt expect games and stuff :P
Good deal for the price (for now!)

Pros:
First things first... It is a good phone in terms of performance. There was absolutely no lag thanks to its 512MB RAM and dual core processor not common in this price range.
The display is very clear and the demo video plays with high quality without lag. Because of its small screen size apparently the low resolution doesn't make it look pixelated.
The touch is very smooth and glides without lags.
The 2MP camera too surprisingly decent pics.
Battery seems to be of decent quality. SAR value is lower and good (as there is no 3G).
Dual sim slots are regular sized ones.
It comes with earphones, USB cable and USB charger.
Cons:
It comes with some bloated Karbonn games that you can't uninstall. They aren't free either for you to enjoy. So that eats up some space leaving only 1.11GB user available memory.
In terms of looks and usage feel
Before I say this, the pics in the flipkart page are slightly misleading in terms of the texture and feel of the color. The looks of the phone are ok from back side. But the gold variant gives it a cheap chinese phone look (which it totally is!). I think the white & silver variant would be a more appropriate option.
It catches finger prints badly on the back side as well as the front.
The plastic body is visibly very cheap but don't expect more for this price.
Bottom line: May be best buy for the price range for now. But with Asus Zenfone 4 and others aggressively bringing latest models with surprisingly lower prices and high specs (along with recent budget lowering mobile phone costs) you may want to look for solid alternatives in near future... so wait for better ones.
Karbonn A53+ new worthit mbl phn...

I bought it for rs2999 and it worth more than its price... functions genuinely over whatsapp and over rest applications(like fb, and gmail). Though it doest not support 3G internet but works superb on a Wifi Connection... will recommend to first time users... Its been around 2 weeks and has'nt shown any sign of getting hang !!!

Dont buy Karbon Mobiles

I bought Karbon A52+ in flip kart couple of months ago. I hardly used it for 2 to 3 months. One fine day my phone gone dead. I had lot of challenges in finding out the authorized service center for Kabon mobiles purchased via flip kart. Finally I found out one service center in T. Nagar, they denied to take my mobile for service stating the reason that this center is specifically for flip kart delhi. For flip kart bangalore I need to go to C.I.T Nagar. Why not other authorized service centers can't do the service. Then I have given my mobile for service in the month of December 2014. They initially said it will be serviced in 7 days but not done and I was told it will take another one month to replace the mother board. I waited till 1st week of February 2015 and called up to know the status of my mobile. They replied, mother board is out of stock for my model and will replace with new mobile of other model. When I went over there I was given a mobile which was not a new one. When I asked them, they said it is a new one. I have a doubt, whether karbon mobiles are wrapped in a oid newspaper and sent to the service center. I denied to accept the replacement phone asked for my mobile to be serviced in a weeks time. They said it will take another one month to know the status. It is not only for me, I saw many people who are waiting for more than 6 months and 8 months to get their mobile serviced. If an mobile is in the service center for 8 months then what is the use of giving one year warranty. Is Karbon mobiles are worth only for 2 or 3 months usage. As a customer I am completely irritated with the Kabon phone and Karbon service center. If you do not have spares then do not sell the products in the market. As a customer I will never ever buy a Karbon mobiles.

Best smartphone at a price below2.5k

I m using this smartphone for the past three months and there is no any no hanging probs and it supports almost all games (subway,temple run, unicorn, vector ,any HD vid,etc); the RAM 512MB was really working well and it has internel memory of 1.20 GB was very useful in installing many apps and a miracle is that front camera(0.3MP) is more clarity than the primary camera(2MP)...
BEST CHOICE @ THIS PRICE. GO FOR IT.....

cannot match this kind of specifications with any other phone @ this price point...
I am feeling bad that karbonn could not sell much units of this, but its a great phone in 3k.
Perhaps best in category.
But i think 4 " screen could have worked wonder @ 32-3400 rs, coz i feel customer wants 4 " display minimumly today.
And also i think karbonn should have brought this handset to market as well where people would have loved this.
Anyways good luck Karbonn and keep doing the appreciable work.....
Very Impressed - Perfect Secondary phone

Purchased it as a secondary to my Galaxy S4.
PROS:
Good Battery - lasts a full day easy
Good IPS Display - for the price its good. No pixels noticeable in normal viewing, colors are vibrant
MT6572 Chipset - no lags with a basic set of apps installed, also runs HD videos!
Ultra Light - and great form factor
CONS:
As expected poor camera
Internet(EDGE) is slow though wi-fi is superfast
Few Karbonn pre-installed crapware which you need to disable for best performance
DO NOT GO FOR THE BLACK AND SILVER COMBO - LOOKS EL CHEAPO,
i got the sliver white combo - looks like a mini I-Phone
All in all - a fantastic buy for the price especially as a secondary phone.. Cheers Guys :)
