Huawei has show aggressive strategy in past years till now in Data Card industry. Leading the manufacturing of data cards and then innovating every year has become a habit for them. This product is one of the best from Huawei, Its got good looks that you don't need to hide and keep under a newspaper or drawer, good rubberized feel ensures firm grip and clean info-led interface with breathing light next to power button. This Product Supports Good 3G Network speed which is hardly accessible across India (21 Down, 5 Up), up to "n" WiFi compatibility, first of kind LAN port, support for max 10 users and a 1500 MAh battery with 5 Hours power backup. I used couple of 3G operator Sim cards like Airtel 4G 128K Card (Which automatically chooses 3G when not in 4G range - It chooses Vodafone by default), Idea 3G, Tata Docomo 3G. One thing to note is its awesome internal network antenna which has good "Receive Diversity". If you are in good network range - Nothing like it. I am not the lucky one though, Earlier I used to surf near the window or chasing network hot-spots in my house checking my dongle with range availability. This Mi-Fi device gives me complete flexibility as the device stays near window in charge mode and I can enjoy really good speeds. Following are the test results I took from this device and a standard 7.2 MBps dongle from same location in house - Huawei MiFi :: Airtel 4G (Vodafone 3G by default) [Shows 3 out of 5 Network bars] - Down : 5.7 Mbps, Up : 1.6 Mbps Idea 3G [Shows 5 out of 5 Network bars] - Down : 6.6 Mbps, Up : 1 Mbps. Tata Docomo 3G [Shows 5 outof 5 Network bars] - Down : 2 Mbps, Up : 1.2 Mbps. 7.2 Mbps Dongle :: Airtel 4G (Vodafone 3G by default) [Shows 2 out of 5 Network bars] - Down : 1.6 Mbps, Up : 0.56 Mbps Idea 3G [Shows 3 out of 5 Network bars] - Down : 2 Mbps, Up : 0.90 Mbps. Tata Docomo 3G [Shows 3 outof 5 Network bars] - Down : 1 Mbps, Up : 0.45 Mbps. The above results clearly show good network hand shake and holding capabilities, the best part is even though you are in low network penetration zone, like 1 bar out of 5 this MiFi device gives good speeds. The battery lasted 4 Hours & 6 Minutes for me with 3 devices connected (Laptop, PS3 & Cellphone). All-in-all this MiFi device is a great product, even though the price might be a bit high when I am writing this review...its highly recommended to almost future proof yourself and carry anywhere portability which hardly any device is currently capable in market.

Simple,superb and blazingly fast internet WIFI connection. No pre configuration required. Just insert a 3G sim and connect thro WIFI. It prompts for a wifi key. Just input the key seen inside the back cover of device. Get connected to Wifi automatically without any configuration. Can connect upto to 10 devices like smartphones, tablets, computer,laptop etc simultaneously. Tested with 3G sims of BSNL & Airtel and found blazingly fast internet connection Thanks for Flipkart and WS Retail for introducing this superb product ahead of all online sites and also delivered the product within 2 days Last but not least it is a no compromise device and recommended for all smartphone users as it is a must have product for everyone who uses computer , laptop and smartphones simultaneously in office and home.

Comments 1) Inserted 3G SIM Card and that's it , it started working 2) Battery last for 8 Hours. 3) I can access using 192.168.8.1 both using Mobile and Desktop 4) Very small in Size , little bigger than Match Box. Can easily fit in your pocket 5) Range , I tried up to 15 feet and is working 6) Connected 4 devices it is working 7) I can view SMS received on card I would recommend certain buy ! It is bit costly but it is Huwaei -4 Stars, 1 Additional Star for FlipKart - Excellent delivery. Note:- The WIFI - Key is on the back side of cover . You would require once you start. Con - Honestly , I didn't any , I can't expect more. Anything more would get complicated.

Given the current state of Internet in India, 3g is the best way to access fast internet ( based on coverage of course ) This device is bigger that I had anticipated, 2x the size of my LG dual sim phone, though can be easily carried around in a pocket. I have moderately used this device since purchase for 3g and seems to have no problems with connectivity to 3g or 2g n.w. Have experienced Fast Wifi access. Did a 5G download OS update download in 5-6 hrs, no problems ! Battery seems to be good so far, though hopefully since it is removable, hope Huawei will make it available for purchase. The USP for me is that I can connect to internet via any Wifi enabled device - laptop, phone or tablet without any limitation, and don't have to pull out sim from one device to another or cut the SIM to make it a microSIM either. I haven't yet tested the RJ-45 to Wifi function of this device, but for me that also is a major draw, as most broadband providers charge extra for Wifi routers and with this I don't have to pay extra. Will add to this review in a months time

This is one handy little tool. I am a person without a great deal of knowledge of technology and it took 5 minutes to set this data card up. The set up is as easy as 1-2-3. Remove the back cover, insert the sim card in the sim card slot and place the battery in the battery slot. After that, all you need to do is switch the device on. I am using it with my Micromax A90. and it works like a charm. Once you have switched on the device, your phone will detect the new wifi network. Log into the network using the pre-configured password that comes in the box. Speed is lightning quick, and it says it can connect up to 5 devices at a time. I have tried two devices simultaneously without a problem. The coverage is moderate. It will remain strong within a moderately sized apartment of 1000 to 1200 sq feet. The best thing is that it is small. Fits my palm. I can simply carry it in my bag and switch it on to create my personal Wifi hotspot. However, do remember to read the instructions before you start using the device.
