A good starter.....

A good phone by a reputed company at a flexible price and a great configuration than any other company can provide at this price..
Good Package with poor battery
By Ninad Mhatreon
I have been using this phone for a week now, in brief review about the phone
I have to admit, battery life is terrible. Its charged to 100% and then i use it for 2-3 mins of regular phone stuff and battery is drained by 5-6%. So i just tried to use the phone with regular use for a day and it lasted for like 30+ hours with 2-3 hours of talk time, little of browsing and data connection on for half of the time during this testing window.
I have seen battery remains stable for 8-9 hours when i dont use the phone at all! But as i use for min or 2 it drains by 5-6%. Restarting the phone reduces battery % by 8-9%.
If battery performance is improved this phone will rock! Battery should drain exponentially.
Good:
- Hardware
- Stock Android (Almost)
- Display ( ~230+ PPI)
- Pricing
- No Crap applications ( + Huawei Cloud service is free )
- Nice performance
Bad:
- Battery
- No one knows about this brand! or rather i should say no one knows how to even pronounce company name :) so there are no accessories available.
I would recommend this phone for regular use and occasional gaming. Gaming on it drains the battery. But there is no lag in terms of gaming performance.
Smartphone, worth every penny!

Hi all,
This review is written after using the phone for more than 3 months. I obviously wanted to share my experience (positive, of course, if not, I wouldn't spend my time for reviews painstakingly) which I believe may help others to decide whether or not to buy this phone.
Pros: Processor, Display (with auto brightness), GPU, ROM (without unnecessary bloat wares), Screensize, Smoothness
Cons: The major turn down point is the battery. However, it improved after a month of complete charge and discharging daily. Roughly lasts for a day. Games are the biggest battery suckers, especially Temple run (Huawei must have considered more amp battery!). Using wifi, browsing etc. wont consume much and if the phone is used only for calls, it stay for amazing 3 days!
For the price I paid, I am more than satisfied. I wouldn't have hesitated to spend some extra bucks for 1GB RAM!
For people who fear about customer support, Huawei maintains it great (both voice and email). And for the ones who compare with Micromax canvas 2, the comment from its user is "Man, this phone is much better than mine, no significant lags except one has to compromise for 4 inch screen instead of 5".
Personally, I am not trying to boast that I made a good purchase but can any one say what brand of processor Micromax uses?
Decent phone

Hi Guys., I am using this phone from past 1 month. No issues till now. Those who say battery is a problem, yes there is problem regarding calibration of battery. To make your battery run well for long duration, you have to charge-discharge compltely 3-4 times. I did that and i now get more than one day of moderate usage. It's the best phone around 10K. Though Huawei is chinese it's not cheap company which sells 5"+ screens with mediocre displays and cheap build. It's a premium brand.
pros of Huawei U8825-1 aka g330:
>1GHz dual core qualcomm snapdragon s4(MSM8225) with adreno 203 graphics
>video runs smoothly without any glitch.
>FM radio
>Super crisp and bright IPS display
>ICS 4.0.4 almost like the original ICS; very little modification by Huawei. So it's quite smooth
>No unwanted/junk pre-loaded apps.
>DLNA support
>premium build..

Battery drains fast and heat up phone because of back ground process ,for better backup disable unnecessary process which saves RAM and battery consumption.
Operating System
Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwhich Stock Rom.
apps and Launcher is customized by Huawei Emotion UI.
Conclusion-This phone is not like Micromax karbonn which is also providing same thing in this price range, its bulid quality is good like htc and samsung and its a reputed company in china for network solution.
configuratin is same like HTC desire X and SV .Best Budget phone in this price range.
Review for Ascend G330
By Sanju Desaion
Huawei makes decent phones and the G330 is definitely not a bad phone from specs standpoint.
Here is my feedback and it's going to be short as these may be issues with my phone only (i.e. the piece that I received)
1. Battery drains fast, super fast. In 5 minutes after getting to 100% charge the battery dipped to 92% - Data Off, Screen Brightness on Auto and all apps closed. The phone is new and is not loaded with apps yet.
2. This is very very weird and may not be relevant at all for a lot of you guys out there, but I wear glasses made by polaroid (model P4039C) and I was surprised to find out that I could see nothing on the screen of G330 with these glasses on. Other phones no problem at all. I have Huawei Honor as well and no issues with that one.
3. I tested a game on this phone Beach Buggy Blitz, never worked, it appeared to launch and then crash. The same game on Huawei Honor no issues. I do not necessarily think that this is a phone issue, because a lot of other people have reported the game crashing on their phones.
I am still reviewing the phone, but most likely it's going to go back to where it came from. If you want to buy go for Huawei Honor U8860, which is a much better phone, even though it is a single core phone.
