Great Phone but Rotten Customer Support

I received my phone from Flipkart on 16-Apr-2012. when I switch on the phone for the first time, there was one little yellow spot at upper side of the screen, I did not took it seriously then but when it started getting bigger, I decided to show to the HTC Service center. HTC Service Center personal told me there is a manufacturing defect with the phone screen and they cannot replace the phone because as per the HTC replacement policy, replacement available within 15 days only. And it was 16th day as per Flipkart invoice. So I decided to contact HTC Customer Care, they informed me, i will get my DOA Certificate & Replacement at HTC Service center. I got my DOA Certificate on 11-May-2012 and as requested by HTC Customer support personal, I submitted my phone at HTC Service Center on 31-May-2012 for my replacement. HTC Customer Support personal promised me that I will get my replacement in 4 Days. After two months, I still did not have my replacement phone or my own phone which I brought from Flipkart. I spend more than 9-10 hours at HTC Service center on 5 - 6 visits. And I spend lot of time with HTC Customer support personal on phone and email also. Now I am in contact with HTC Asia Customer Escalation Team. They promised me a solution and they asked for more time. And I am still waiting for my replacement phone.

Worst handset

Guys, be ware this handset comes with bundled battery that we can not remove and change. I gifted one to my relative but it disappointed me and i had to apologize since the battery had a problem and company said they need to replace complete handset. The phone wont start (even if it is put on charging) whenever battery is over.

Worst Phone

I bought this phone around one and half month ago and just after 30 days phone stopped responding. It neither boots nor does it charges. I submitted this phone to HTC service center and they says that phone manufactured in March have this kind of problem and company will replace it but sadly even after 10days of submitting this phone to HTC service center I haven't received any update from them nor do they answer properly on customer care. Never buy HTC phone. This phones are not properly tested and are blindly pushed into the market. Lesson Learned.

HTC ONE V -One should never buy

Its one of the pathetic phone I have ever seen.I bought one and within few days there was some defect.Thanks to flipkart,I got it replaced,Now after 5 weeks my phone got switched off and its not at all waking up.So you can imagine two horrible experiences within month and half.After paying around 18k one expect phone to run for atleast few years without any issue. But this phone does not even run few months.

Poor Build Quality Display dead after One Month

The LCD panel simply went dead after two months of normal use. Had a tough time getting it to their collection center as there are no centers in South Mumbai. The small place in Dadar had only one landline which was forever engaged or out of order. Made three trips. They promised to repair the piece in 15 days. Later on their call center people called to say that they would repair it quickly. The display was not very bright to start with. I have never seen a cell phone develop a major fault like this. The phone should be replaced but they are just promising to repair which means it may collapse again one day after the warranty expires! The plastic used in the body construction is also of poor quality and develops scratches and stains quickly. I am deeply disappointed with this purchase and saw many other customers coming in with new HTC One V problems. I would give this model 5 thumbs down!
