I bought this 32 GB pen drive. Received it on time, in good condition and very well packaged. The pen drive is made of shining metal, small and trendy good looking. Though made of of metal, I doubt if it would last the rough use that my old plastic 1 GB transcend has gone through. It is almost 6 years now, still running as if it were new, the plastic is discoloured and logo has long been gone, washed many times, dried many times and still running :) Coming back to this good looking HP pen drive, i dropped it, first I felt bad but later I realised though looking sturdy but metal get dented and this is no exception. The hook portion is little dented. Performance: I copied 2.6 GB of JPEG and RAW image files on Windows and 860 MB of MP3 on Linux. I am getting close to 7 MB/s on Windows and close to 8MB/s on Linux. The performance is not bad at all, it is better than my 6 year old drive but could have been better. This is my initial review, yet to format this drive and use it with different PCs and if the performance is any better will update this feed back. Overall 4 stars out of 5
