Worst Smartphone!
By Sailesh Kumaron
Purchased this phone about 2 months ago, and since then have been visiting the service centre every fortnight. The network quality sucks, and service connection keeps dropping therefore needing you to reboot the phone regularly to make it work. Service Team has no solution yet, and there are more users complaining about the same each day. Also, phone has dual-front speakers but the output is lower than a smartphone carrying a single speaker. Unfortunately, cannot advise anyone to choose this considering the unresolved network issues with the phone which HP too doesn't seem to know the reason!
NOt a great phone

OK to start with I will try to list all thre things wrong with this tablet:
1)Marvell processor isn't exactly fast.
2)Overall lethargic performance and a general lag in most circumstances.I've seen phones that cost LESS THAN HALF that have snappier performance!
3)MOST IMPORTANT: The sound Quality:AWFUL does not describe it properly.APALLING is more like it!It is BARELY audiable with the volume craked up to FULL!I'm REALLY REALLY surprised that a once-renowned manufacturer like HP has released this product in this state.Maybe HP's R&D team needs to stop doing drugs&wake up. Bitterly disappointed!Though on the bright side it seems it could probably be a software issue since a lot of other reviewers are reporting decent sound quality. Now those HP R&D guys need to wake up & release a patch that addresses this issue.I didn't buy the device on Flipkart. It was bought from a retailer.Pros about this phone: Nice, big screen with decent viewing angles.Acceptable performance.Vanilla Android experience (with a few HP bloatware),ie. No skins.Pretty decent build-quality.
Verdict: Stay away from this phone until HP addresses the sound issue!
HP Slate 6 Voice tab
By Arunabha Ghoshon
it is a very gud device but with a few negatives...the camera is a bit snag at night shot...the price is a bit high @ 23000...but you would get a quality headset of 1000/- with the device..quadcore 1.2 ghz processor from Marvel is upto the mark with 16 gb storage and 32 gb card support...it has IPS LCD display where as Samsung Grand 2 has tft display..sound quality is amazing...with dual front firing speakers...you get a 25gb life time drop box from HP with this device...(16+32+25)=73 gb. in display sound and processor it clearly is a value for money and peace of mind as it is a HP product. I don't know y ppl are comparing it with intex, carbon, etc..i hope the price comes down a bit @18/19 and the camera gets an upgrade...dual sim 3g ready(with one micro sim), usb 2.0 and bluetooth 3.0 connectivity ....n most importantly it weighs 160 grams ONLY which is far low than its competitors...way to go HP gud work....!!!
nothing special

First of all, Amazon delivery is good.About the device: Performance wise it is okay type. First impression is after browsing through various apps, the "back" button does not work (I used "menu" button instead). A bit big to keep inside jeans pocket. Audio plug-in sometimes does not work properly. Very slow start-up during power on. Looses signal often especially when I use elevators and signal returns only after restart.
Four Stars
