the adapter that came with my HP laptop died after about 4 years, so I had to get a new one. This new charger is working well so far and battery life of my laptop is good and the price is also fair. Don't know about long term reliability. Delivery was done the next day after ordering. I will update this review if there is a problem later. However, it seems good and I can recommend this adapter to anyone. Just be sure to check that your charger port is compatible with this. There is also a connector for smaller laptop charging ports, so that is helpful too. Overall, quite satisfied with the purchase.
