I've been using this for past one month.Pros-Fast charging and workingSleek designNice speakerCons-It heats up pretty quickly when you convert it into tab mode because the fan outlet at back get coverd with back of the screen.It easily get pretty warm if you put it on bed. It constantly needs to let the fan pump out the warm air. So user needs to use it without blocking any fan space.If you are buying only for designing purpose.. Please don't. Stylus pen isn't that great as well.. I would say above average but not precise.For entertainment purposes-you can definitely do better than this for this price.

Those who are complaining about heat are those guys who use to play heavy games on this , If you play any heavy game with any high end configuration without any proper ventilation they will heat up like anything. So please don't play heavy games, only play games which are supported by intel UHD 620 intrgrated graphic chip and i tell you its a very good .when you compare it with old NVidia 2GB GPU s coming with other laptop in combination with i7 (7th generation ) . This notebook has i5( 8TH Generation CPU) with integrated UHD 620 GPU its very deadly combination and rarely found in other laptops . And please understand your need if you want a all rounder( 2-in 1 with hp stylus , easy to carry , good battery and display , good gaming configuration) than this is the best in this price segment and go for it.PS: if you want to play heavy games use cooling pad and always search internet for what is the minimum requirement to play the game.Its a very wonderful machine , you will fall in love with this i bet . just close your eyes and buy this . With premium fit and finish to go with all the features mentioned, this model is a good combination of both form and functionality. The only grouse was that there was some lag initially while booting up, but that seems to have gone away on its own now. Also, it's only been a few weeks since I've been using it, so I can't speak for its durability. This particular piece is a replacement piece - the original one that was delivered refused to start! So am a little worried - my experience with HP products has been great in the past, so let's hope this one also continues to reinforce that.

The laptop worked well for a few weeks... the stylus stopped functioning within a few days...The laptop gets hanged continuously. Doesn't start at times.Worst product ever!!!Raised hp help desk ticket... But not getting any response.Amazon's quality of products has degraded..I want my money back !

bought it from a local dealer for 47k as it was just launched at the time so was not available on flipkart and the lappy is just awesome, build quality, design finishing and above all, Beats audio is just too much to let u go for any other laptop.

build is good but still not that impressive, windows 8.1 runs smooth but if you play any heavy requirement game then it lags also that they must provide more RAM atleast upto 6GB after all we are paying about 48K. The core speed with turbo is written to be 2.7GHz but in the pc u will find it till only 2.4GHz written.

Negatives:
1) HP should have provided I5 4200M Proceesor at this price which is quite faster than default 4200U processor.
2) More RAM!

If you are looking for a decent gaming laptop and not looking to shell out above 50k, then this is the one for you. Since it has one slot empty for the ram & expandable upto 12GB, you can spend around 5k more (for 8GB DDR3) to make it suitable for new higher end games(such as COD:AW). 2GB graphics card give you a power to run much of the games. One front where you'll lack is the RAM only. The hardware quality is way better than others, including the Beats audio & Camera. The touchpad disappoints a bit, but is not an deal turning down issue. While buying from online, get an assurance from both HP & the reseller about the warranty. There are some issues involved. Thereby I bought it from a local retailer.

It has been two weeks since i ve purchased it.First of all its a little bit noisy the fan makes some low noise while working i dont know if it is normal.
It's a great buy in such a price, the turbo boost is upto 2.4GHz not 2.7 GHz, you can perform medium level gaming on this laptop. If you are playing on high setting then you definitely need a cooling pad or cool environment else the game will stop working due to over heating. Beats audio are simply the best. Great sound quality. USB ports too close to each other , guess it is problem in all hp laptops.
Still i have no heating issues the laptop stays cool in normal use.
i guess windows 7 might have worked better for this laptop.6 gb ram would ve been total value for the money.
