I have used for a little over a month now. Cools the room fast. Atleast in the first month of running doesn't seem like it's a drain on electricity...I had read some reviews about the unit making a lot of sound.. Obviously it makes more noise than split AC but I think it's not very noisy compared to most other Window AC.Service from both amazon and hitachi for installation was prompt ....

Brought on 16/06/14 evening and delivered on 18/06/14 11:30 am as scheduled, Flipkart has done their job perfect by delivering the product as promised to me. The AC is great.It cools down my room perfectly. But my concern is to the Hitachi Team that has to install the AC within 48 hrs.they did not approach me by any means for the installation.So I complaint to flikart but nobody call me or came to my house for the installation.Only flipkart call me that informed me they have talk to the Brand and the AC will be installed today.and the TODAY never came for me.And nobody from the Brand call me till date. I have heard about Hitachi's bad Services which they give after purchase.But within the 3 rd day after my Ac was delivered I have got what Hitachi Service quality is and will be. The product is good so I am satisfied,but not the Hitachi services after purchase and I just pray that the AC do not need any services from the Hitachi. Therefore I am not happy with Hitachi services. And lastly to all my fellow customer do not buy Hitachi products if the service will not be good in your area(I am in Delhi,Capital of India so I do not expect much in other areas)and about the noise that this AC generate has always been discussed ,my answer is the product also specified itself that it is 50 db and above all, everybody has the idea that a window AC makes noises.If you can not bear the heat,noise,expense etc then I think there is nothing else to be done to make you feel comfortable and better. we need to compromise something for something. I have compromise regarding the installation by hiring a local technician and done on 21/06/2014. This AC is better then LG window ACLWA3GR2F1 from my experience.

Ac delivered in 4 days. . Call Hitachi customercare for installing ac..engg visit next day .and he is good and fully skilled . sound is too low when compreser do its working . 10min its cool my room of 150sq.ft One thing need to highlight here that 1tone and 1.5 tone window ac of Hitachi are exactly same in size ..23 width 17 lenght . Other company ac having different size . Belive me two company are best in ac Hitachi and blue star.
