The product is really good, cools my room in 5 minutes. Delivery in two days by Flipkart as promised during ordering process, exact day and time. But after delivery the installation was done by Hitachi Authorised mechanic as promised by flipkart, and they collected an installation fee of Rs-451, and thanks to flipkart.

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. First, Flipkart sends me a faulty indoor unit and then I have to scream at their extremely sensitive and intelligent customer service folks for 2 weeks continuously before they send a replacement. And just when you thought life got better, they insist that both the units must be uninstalled despite Hitachi service folks telling me that replacing the faulty one was enough.Flipkart folks stuck to their guns and in their own sweet tradition of harassing the customer ensured that i had to follow up with them repeatedly to get the uninstallation done. After 3 weeks of torture, I followed up on my own with the Hitachi service folks and the courier guy and got my AC replaced. And in between all this nonsense, Flipkart has the gall to send me an email stating 'Trust you're liking your Hitachi RAU518HVDOB 1.5 Ton 5 Star Split AC that you purchased with us' and asked me to rate it and how could i not. One final word - these guys are just not worth it. I wish there was a button called bugger off A** H****, that would be apt.
Got A Damage Product and not getting any service by flipkart...

i have ordered a hitachi ac which i have got in a damage condition
and when i am complained for this , the customer support person said to me that a team from hitachi will come and check the ac by the date 23/05/2015, but when i call them on 23/05/2015 then they are saying that the team will come on 26/05/2015 and i am not getting any service by flipkart, the thing which i got that is a damage product and fake promises from flipkart customer support.

Seriously, shop anywhere else - because the ordeal these guys put you through just isn't worth it. Their customer service agents are worse than the worst bureaucrats you'll ever encounter. Literally couldn't care less. My AC still hasn't been installed - more than a week after their deadline; I've tried being polite, loud, calm, impatient and everything in between but you have a vast layer of truly incompetent folks to contend with on the other end. Avoid them. I certainly will.

Cooling is too good, Silent operation. Entirely copper both indoor and outdoor units. Current consumption is less. Value for money compared to cheaper Blue Star and Panasonic where you get only aluminium units.
