SUMMARY: (Opinion after two years of light-moderate use)This is an easy to use printer with one of the lowest per page costs. The ink tank feature will repay the higher upfront cost of the printer within 6 months of purchase and will save you significant money in the long run. This is perfect for small businesses and homes with school-age kids where printing needs are 10-50 pages per day. The slightly slow speed (in high quality mode) may be an irritant for larger offices.PROS:- Good printing quality, both in black and white and color- Extremely cheap per page cost due to the ink tank feature- The ink lasts long and can be refilled as many time as needed (original and OEM replacement inks available, with the latter being cheaper)- Very rare (almost nonexistent) paper jams- Very fast printing in draft qualityCONS:- Software looks and feels slightly dated- Printing on high quality mode is very slow (esp for photos)- The paper feed and paper output trays appear slightly flimsy (but have lasted two years)

Guys please dont waste your money on Epson products. My printer started having problem with feeding of paper after 2500 prints only. And above all, there will be no one from Epson who would like to entertain you. No one in customer care wants to listen to your complaint. They intentionally hang up the call in middle every single time. Very notorious customer care.

I am writing this review after using it more than 2 years. I was a regular user of HP printers since years but Epson made me fan with this.It's an excellent printer and very good for bulk scale printing. Ink tank technology is literally a revolutionary discovery. Refilling ink is also very cheap. I have refilled only once in 2 years. Scanner is also good. I have printed lots of books without any hassle. But it is not very good for photo printing. Colour comes little darker compared to the lab. Overall I am very much pleased with the product performance and consistency. However, the price has become double within 2 years.

First On time Delivery from Flipkart, Good packaging an Good condition. I bought this for my mini business of Printing... (E-Aadhaar/Passport size Photo/important documents prints/low quality Xerox etc.) The printing quality is out standing and low cost... It came with 4 Original Epson ink bottles of 70ml each (Yellow, Megenta, Neon, Black) Easy ink & driver installation Fast Printing in (Draft/Standard) quality, medium speed in (High paper/High Photo) printing. **(Use Premium Glossy paper settings for Photo Prints)) I bought it for 9999, I earned from it so far 2000 in a few months with same ink bottles and still printing. Cutting 1 Star for not having PVC Card Printing facility & Not providing external PVC Card Printing Tray.

earlier i used HP and cannon printers, both are cheaper in price but costly when it comes to maintenance, even if the printer cost is 2500 (i have to pay 1850 for original cartridges) and my HP 21 and 22 cartridge refilling costs 150 & 200 respectively but color did not last even 50 pages (not printing photos) and black and while just lasts for max 100 or in draft mode 150 ( and you need to keep it in using state or else even 10 days not using ink gets clogged) now my need is a all in one done research, and found this awesome Epson l220 ink tank system printer each refilling ink bottle is 100 ML and black and white is 441 color each cartridge costs around 450 only am using my epson in the last 20 days, taken around 300 color print outs, 5 photos and 2500 black and white documents and the best part is images, photos, documents printing is fast and clear and still i have almost 40 to 50 % of ink left on all four (black, cyan, magenta and yellow) in canon and HP printer head is on the cartridge and it uses heating ink technology (so heat + liquid ink clots may happen) and the life of the head is not more than 5000 pages but in epson they use micro pizzo electric technology (just you try google for micro pizzo technology you will come to know more about it) so in this epson micropizzo technology printing head is not with the ink tank or ink cartridge (on all epson printers) and it lasts long and long no ink clogging issues and maintenance is easy, before buying this printer i checked at few DTP (xerox and desktop publishing) shops and found two of them using epson l 210 and they are so happy with it and appreciating its efficiency even if the initial cost is high but maintenance is damn cheep and replacing ink is more easier and you can watch the ink level directly (no need to turn on the PC and check with printer software) this AIO printer scan and print directly to paper with no computer support direct scanning to PDF is one step and easy this printer doesnt have WiFi support epson could have provided for a printer at this cost but my PC is hooked up to my home wifi network and using the "PrinterShare" android application now i can print to my home printer using my android mobile from anywhere and finally cost of this printer on flipkart is 10700 after 6 % flipkart discount + 10 % discount on purchasing product using SBI card on Flipkart android app sums up my printer cost to 9225 overall my rating is 5 out o 5 and i would recommend this printer for home as well as office or DTP centers
