This is a great product to increase the range of your wifi network within your house. I have a 2 floor house and the router is on the first floor - on some rooms on the lower floor the signal was weak. This range extender works great. You need to find the right place a plug it on. The primary reason I got this was for getting the Videos on Demand from Tata sky. The signal was very weak were the TV is kept. And this product solved that problem.
It is just as it looks in the picture - You just need to plug it in ( like your all out-mosquito repellent) . And its very easy to set it up - instructions are there on the pack. This actually acts as another router with its own SSID and password.
The main router that I use is a D-Link DIR-605L Wireless N300. And this D-link DAP was very easy to setup.
There is no drop at all - have done long skpe video calls and there was never an issue till date. Streaming of videos from youtube is great as well.
Whether one can find a router that has a very good range and use only a router or buy this range extender is the question.
I think one can't really get a router that would push strong signal through multiple concrete walls. So this is good product to have.

my house is 3 storied and i was compelled this time to use my wifi (D Link). But the problem was that if the original modem is kept in the second floor, the wifi connection became very week-- quite frustrating. So i decided to buy this Extender. Now the best thing about this is that it is portable. I take it in the pocket and go to any room in my house where the original wifi connection is bad and use this to my advantage. A must buy.
Easy Setup, Very Good Speed and Extends Wifi to those dead zones you had.

I have a D-Link 2750U modem router and live in a 3 BHK flat of 1600+ sqft. With my DL-2750U, my wifi was limited to any 3 rooms in the flat. No matter where I placed the router, I would loose out on the range in some places of the house.
With the DAP-1320, I no longer have any dead wifi zones. The range does tend to drop a bit when inside any closed rooms like the bathroom; but still its much better than what I had to cope with earlier.
Setting up literally took me about 10mins or less (no exaggeration)
