It fits perfectly for my 15'6 inch dell laptop, its not as bulky as i thought, works wonderfully, if u are a gamer it's one of the best coolers available, keeps the laptop moderately cool while playing games, allows me to play games for longer hours without any issues, but still don't see the use of the LED lights.

Before purchasing the Cooler Master X3. I had a Cooler Master X-lite for my 14-inch HP laptop. The reason I had bought it was 'cause there was a lot of heating issues (just like any other HP Laptop) near the mousepad area. So that cooling pad did its job of keeping the center of the base of the laptop cool but as it was sized for a 14-inch laptop, the fan wasn't big enough and thus ineffective. So I ended up buying this product as the fan in the X3 supports a 17-inch laptop so I can have effective cooling under my whole laptop surface. The cooler is totally worth the buy. Its really helped cooling the areas around the mousepad. Its big and better undoubtedly compared to the previous cooler I had. It looks great and judging by the size of it, it is very light and easy to handle. I also liked the idea of introducing vents for the hands at the centre in the front. It helps a lot. There is an option to switch off/on the LED and to change the fan speed which actually speaking in the large picture hadn't made much of a difference to me. The only thing I did not find good is the lighting. As in once you place the laptop on the cooler you can barely see any lit areas of the cooler in daylight, at night though it looks really cool.

Hi Guys, Don't get carried away by those boasting reviews.. 20C drop in temp, mini air condition, blah blah.. Has been using it for past 3 months with fans running at full speeds, and at max it reduced CPU/GPU/HDD temp by only 4C. While gaming, my CPU/GPU temps are over 80C with the cooler running at full speed. Even if I turn off cooler, the temp goes up only by 2 or 3. Cons: 1. Cannot fit 17'' laptop(z580 is 17'' in size). 2. Useless LED and front vents for hand cooling(there is no way someone can type on the laptop, while enjoying the so called cooling effect. Just see pic) 3. No way portable. Yes its bulky(not heavy).. you can use it only for desk use. There are no practical cooling pads, that can drop the temperature by more than 10C. So if someone claims it, they are just boasting(probably a sadist.. I lost money.. now its your turn). It may work well if you have extremely large vents(possibly at the center) at the bottom of your laptop.

First thing first... great delivery from Flipkart, the moment I ordered this item it was out of stock I was worried that it might get cancelled but within 5 days product was delivered to me though it was meant to be delivered in 7 days as it was not in stock. For Cooler itself...this is really good cooler with Massive 200MM fan circulating cool air under your laptop...upto 17" models are supported. Remember that fan is huge so it will not make much of noise but will still circulate almost 2 times air than any 120/140 mm fans on others coolers... I have seen other reviwer saying its not circulation enough air...I guess they think unless Fan makes noise like Hair dryer it wont circulate air ;-) Pros: 1. Nice Cooling 2. Decent build quality 3. Good USB cable Management under cooler. 4. Blue LED 5. really lightwight compared to size. 6. One USB 2.0 port 7. USB port will work fine even my 2 TB HDD is working with it 8. nice opening vent to cool your hands. 9. Fan Speed control. Cons: 1. LED and Fan Switches look cheap 2. Some power hogger USB peripherals wont work on the USB 3. Actual no use of LED once laptop is place on top of cooler. 4. Fan can create noise on full speed its more of air circulation noise than fan issue.
