First: About the Flipkart delivery, this product was delivered within 24-hrs. of ordering. The 2 reasons I order from Flipkart is competitive pricing (usually at par or cheaper than other sites in India) and speed of delivery (on most category items the best by far in INDIA). Though it shows 2-3 days for delivery, it was delivered in 24-hrs., I am very happy with the delivery of this item (This was to be delivered in Mumbai). Second: About the printer, this is a simple Print-Scan-Copy Printer, ideal for home use, if you want WiFi Support and Auto-Duplex printing go for the MG3170 (those are the 2 feature i observed as the difference between the 2 similar printers) The MG2270 is very simple to setup and configure it took me less than 30 mins from unboxing to getting my test print, just follow the quick-setup guide. ideal for home use when you have a single PC connected, it connects to the PC or Mac via the USB. has regular printing as well as basic photo printing which is quite good for the price of the printer. Scanning is also quite good and the copying is also good, I wouldnt do bulk copying on this as it may not be cheaper than your neighbourhood Xerox/PhotoCopy place Cartridges used are the PG-740 & CL-741 (which are the default cartridges which in the package) the MRP is about INR 920 & 1365 Resp (check online at the canon imagestore ) it can also use the PG-740XL & CL-741XL costing MRP INR 1465 & 2250 resp. I assume the XL cartridges have more printing capacity. I haven't seen these cartridges on Flipkart, but you can order then at the CANON IMAGESTORE for a discount (check current rates and discounts) I have both the printers the MG3170 (which I have been using for close to 8 months) and the MG2270 which i bought as a gift for my parents, I am very happy with both the printers and their functional and print capabilities.

INITIALLY I WAS NOT ABLE TO REGISTER MY SERIAL NUMBER BUT THERE IS FACILITY AVAILABLE IF YOUR SERIAL NUMBER IS NOT ACCEPTED BY THE WEBSITE AnD WITHIN 2-3 DAYS I WAS ABLE TO REGISTER THE PRODUCT AND NOW DESPERATELY WAITING FOR HEADPHONES. ^-^

Bought the product upon instinct, falling prey to the offer of addl. 1 year warranty & Logitech headset for Free. Flipkart held true to it's delivery in about 2 days time. However, it's been over a month that I have been waiting post registering for the Free Logitech Headset (now it is changed to Philips brand as Logitech model offered is EOS). Upon followup post registering for the Free headset I got a stale response from a very unexcited sales representative at Canon that the gift will be delivered post 45 days time! The cartridges for this printer model are hard to find, not available in Flipkart as well !!! Suggest excited buyers to stay away from this particular model and buy a running model who supplies are readily available in the market.

it does what it is supposed it. i use it very lightly on average, but still the cartridge that comes with it is ridiculously small and ran out in no time. i bought another one and also got a good quality refill kit on ebay. it is fairly easy to refill. with that, the printer is usable. if you plan to get only original and new cartridges all the time, this printer may not be the one for you. other than that, thumbs up.

first of all , flipkart gave me amazing service. delivered it in just one day! the printer is really good for the price. it copies scans and prints exceedingly well and serves the purpose. at this price its fantastic. and also this printer can print of photo paper etc. the flipkart website says it cannot, but the option itself is given in the printer. i found out this only after opening the package. Thumbs up!
