Bajaj GX 7 - Neither Good Nor Bad

This is my first Mixer Grinder ever. Always liked to have Bajaj Mixer Grinder as they are
the best. But it really disappointed me. I ordered it from flipkart and got the product on
4th Oct, & just within 6 days, its knob started making problems. It became totally loose
and I wasn't able to change the knob settings. Finally I had to take the Mixer Grinder on
a tour to the Service Centre and got it repaired. After using it for nearly a month I found
the following pros and cons:
Pros:
1. Low price Mixer Grinder within your budget.
2. Fast & Quality grinding. I tried grinding zeera, sugar, oranges, coconut & rice and the
output was really good & appreciable.
3. Blades are really good and hard enough.
4. The Jars are made of stainless steel and are also good at the same time.
5. Easy to operate.
6. It has a powerful motor too.
7. Also has 2 years of warranty from Bajaj Electricals.
Cons:
1. Low quality Plastic body.
2. As I mentioned the Knob is totally Horrible, Sensitive and not at all smooth.
3. It makes a lot of irritating & loud noise which is really undesirable & a major issue
while operating the grinder.
4. Very much vibrating during its operation. One has to hold the Jar lid and the grinder
firmly or else it would make a real damage to your grinder.
Overall, the grinder is neither good nor bad. Not up to the mark as expected from Bajaj.
One can go for it but I will not recommend this to anyone. As usual very happy to buy
this product from flipkart....

i placed order for this mixer trusting the brand and reading the reviews.i received it quickly well packed from flipkart.curiously opened it in front of my family to get it started...the lids dosent stick to the container,and just pops out every time u try to close..the material of the body used is cheap and the motor makes a loud sound when put on and vibrates a lot.u can get the same quality mixer of other local brand on footpath for a mere 700 rupees.very much disappointed looking at the performance of the product..thanx to flipcart for refunding my full money without any cut in my wallet.

With excellent stylish look, it attracts with its looks itself. Less noise, fast and efficient working. Easy to store ans use. Great product in the Mixer Grinder category. Its very economical as well. Three different types of Jars lets you the choice for different dishes. Handling is also good. SO overall its a nice Product for the price tag of that.
Totally unreliable

Bought the GX 11 model of the same product almost a year and a half back and has been a constant pain for my wife and mother. One side of the rotor blade got ripped off when grinding some kabuli chana that was soaked in water the previous day. Worse, when it did , it punched a hole in the large jar.
Another day, the rubber lining on the lid just landed into the jar while grinding and turned into a neat lump of chopped rubber pieces mixed with the food being grinded spoiling our dinner for the day.
The switch on the grinder frequently displaces itself, and I need to open the case and put it back in place.
The noise is awful, and can drive a wedge between you and your neighbours for annoyance.
I wish I could add a positive note on this product, but apart from the fact that the motor still works after a year and a half and so do the chutney grinders, I find nothing positive to write on this.
Mediocre, substandard product

This one's turning out to be a bad purchase. The jar caps have issues - they are rubber lined , no clip lock and hence you've to really hold them down hard while using the mixer.
Had to seek a product replacement.
Now the replaced one has developed problems. The jar gets stuck in the motor. The rubber lining at the bottom has become loose & the jar just rotates around it.
Will not recommend this product.
