After reading reviews and concerns of so many customers of this laptop about drivers, I felt to help readers with my review. The laptop itself is excellent for the price you are getting it. Only problem i have experienced is touchpad. it is very polished and skiddy. It was less responsive before but I have installed Asus Smart gesture and now it is working OK.All other things are already highlighted by other reviewer, now the bonusFriends you can install drivers for Windows 7 64 bit version as well. Just download drivers for Asus X551CA 15.6" Laptop and all is done. Drivers for Audio, Video, LAN, WIFI, Card reader, Smart Gesture (Touchpad) are same. I faced only problem with bluetooth drivers which I am still searching and trying. The above drivers are easily available on Asus site.One more thing I want to add is RAM can be added with one extra slot and also battery is replaceable only thing is you have to remove bottom cover. But don't expect any extraordinary performance from this laptop.If you need any help mail on nwakodikar@gmail.com

My brother bought this as I'm using another Asus netbook.I operated it too, the touchpad is good. 2-gb ram operated Windows 7 works fine. One can expand the ram too. Speakers are good. 500-gb storage space is quite good at this price (15k). Picture quality is fine.Delivery was timely. Thank you amazon for that. Although, had it been available for delivery in Uttar Pradesh too then I'd have been better because of that I'd to get it delivered at a friend's address in Delhi.A negatives point is battery drains fast. Hardly, 2 hours backup. But then if you stay at home, it's not a big deal.Amazon, improve you Delivery-Logistic. Giving 4-star for lack of delivery options.

For me, this price is pretty good with the overall configuration of the devices. I love this laptop as it is light and very good quality for given price. If above cons don't bother you, please don't hesitate purchasing it. Deducted 1 star for the cons mentioned.UPDATE AFTER 5 MONTHS OF USAGE:This laptop suddenly stopped starting. I got onsite support from ASUS but they found out there was a display problem and it was replaced as in warranty. This may not be the case with everyone but I feel worried that this display is not of good quality and it may cost me money if this happens again post-warranty. Deducted 1 star for this issue.
Awesome with SSD, Recommended product

I bought it second time at Rs.14,999 from the lightning deal, previous one was returned due to some problem in keyboard. Before some times I had a dilemma to buy this, Now completely satisfied with this product by Amazon's support. I bought a 128GB SSD and installed. Booting time is less than 9 seconds. and I'm happy about it. It is recommended for the people who do Basic stuff in computer like, Browsing, Microsoft Office, and Data entry works. Don't ever think about the price and built quality. Build quality is good and compact in size. Recommended product for people who do basic stuff regularly.

RAM: RAM is sufficient for all purpose of use even some of high capacity designing software are also working but installation of these software will decrease speed.Processor: Third generation intel processor is absolutely fine.. This laptop is fab of a laptop as far as the look and feel is concerned. Though I got it for much lesser (around 25 to 30% lesser) than the price of 20.900 quoted here. But, i had a reference working in Asus.
This is a meat machine , low on price, and apt for users who are looking for a budget option.
It does not have any hot keys (So no accidental switching of wifi/sound or playing of any software as I had experienced in my HP laptop which I had bought for 57k around half a decade back)
