Bornand raised in Delhi, he moved to the US in 2004 for his Masters and stayed on for fiveyears before returning to India, in a Swades-inspired moment. During his time in the US,he started his blog to chronicle the lives of Indians living abroad, and this book is theculmination of that vision. The cover design was very flashy and the title was too sarcastic. I was looking forward for a hilarious tale. Well, I found just that - a hilarious tale. The story about two boys - Akhil and Jaspreet, who go abroad for different reasons. The most hilarious part of the book is the narration itself. The author made every incident faced by the protagonists sound hilarious. During the later half of the story, Akhil's character slips into a bit emotional side. Even then, the comic experiences of Jaspreet filled in the humour part. The only and big negative about the book is its size. 200 pages of coemdy is enjoyable. But 310 pages, is way too boring. Overall, the book is worth the bucks..Book is well-defined according to the mindset of people who dream to be in America. It tells how people get dragged into unwanted activities and forget their target for which they leave their home land. Book is entertainnig initially. The doubt of parents is certified properly. Writer writes in a very simple language which makes the book readable. I would surely suggest all of you to go with this debut work of Atulya Mahajan. It can be read once.This is a book for all the students aspiring to go to US and also for the parents.
