Dont Buy Alienware.
By Devesh Bapnaon
Pros:
Looks Good.
Premium feel.
Cons:
Heavily overpriced.
Bad quality.
Not at all value for money.
Pathetic customer support.
I bought one alienware for all its show and configuration and it is giving one or other issue since the day it arrived.
Not even a single day it worked properly.
Dell keeps sending a technician to fix it and it wont fix.
What is the use of such a costly machine if it would break down in middle of presentations?
When asked for replacement of product they would refuse for one reason or another.
My take:
If you are going to invest 1 lakh+ in a laptop. Then customize a desktop.
Be aware and save your money.
Fantastic Piece of Machinery

To start things off, if you're gonna buy an Alienware and use it ONLY for Presentations in a Conference Room, you need to get your priorities straight. Buying it for the earlier mentioned purpose is like buying a Nissan GT-R to drive from your home to the local tea shop 500m away. And if you compare it to the other options, you're left not just spending (A LOT) more but coming to grips with the fact that they aren't available in India.
Getting to the point, I don't think you'll find any system as clear and provide seamless graphics performance, considering the resolution and high settings for games (World of Warcraft, Bioshock Infinite).
Multitasking is just another walk in the park for this machine. Photo editing, Movie making, music composing are just simple tasks with the Alienware.
Overall, a solid system.
One point of concern is the system getting a hot quite a bit. However, the touchpad seems impervious, small mercy from the alienhead against burnt fingers.
Awsome Product
