Got in from US around a quarter back, and surprised to see it here at an aggressive price.
For most people the Acer Switch 11 will not be your only computer due to limitations inherent with tablets. It does not have great graphics for games and only has 4 gig of RAM. But for a second computer for a travel computer this is a great deal for the money. The graphics is very lacking for many games but the older games will load and run. As a tablet it runs Windows ( I am currently running Windows 10). The tablet portion has all the components of the Acer to allow it to run. The 128G of storage is located in the tablet along with the camera, mike, a micro SD card slot and USB 3.0 port. Two magnets hold the tablet onto the keyboard and the stiff hinge holds the screen at any angle that you set it to. The keyboard has a USB 2.0 port on the side and there is a hidden gem inside the keyboard. When you open the keyboard case you will find a connector on the circuit board that will accept an Acer cable that adds a SATA hard drive. There is also a cradle in the keyboard that will hold the 2.5 inch drive. Using an SSD drive, you can have a second drive to hold data. It automatically connects when dock the keyboard to the tablet. Because of the larger footprint of the Acer, the keyboard is a very good size for typing and you are not hampered by scrunched together keys. The dual core I3 processor running at 1.5 ghz allows you to run most programs quickly.
Mind-blowing purchase

pros-
1. wireless AC (nice surprise since its not mentioned anywhere). stable, non buggy, good range... like 10/10.
2. display is good... like 7/10.
3. speakers r better than i expected... like 6/10.
4. win8.1 which i prefer more than 10 which hangs during "reset PC" on all windows tabs tat i tested till date... asus, acer, micromax.
5. recovery partition provided.
6. i3 + ssd = feels like a proper laptop. i've tested all ATOM 2in1 in market as mentioned above. so trust me on that.
7. ssd + microSD + HDD = awsome!
8. BIOS supports touch! never seen that before. unless u've used it, u wont know how useful it is!
9. gorilla glass.
cons...
1. speakers should've been louder.
2. tablet is pretty heavy.
3. when closed down as laptop, unit is very thick & heavy... compared to my yoga-2-13.
4. huge bezels & chin.
5. no keyboard backlight... how much would it cost acer? Rs.50? every keyboard should be backlit, theres no reason companies shy out from 10pcs of LED.
6. no rear cam.
7. power button is VERY badly placed.
8. batt life is 4hrs give or take.
9. display should've been brighter.
10. acer active stylus not provided in package. wats the point of providing active digitizer then?
11. display freaks out if some water drops on screen.
