Slow processor, slow charging

1. Extremely slow processor when performing basic tasks like playing music or HD videos.2. Charging takes forever. Sometimes more than 24 hours3. Display colors are quite good for the price (almost like OLED) but black levels are bad with strange tint. Viewing angle is also terrible as you can not even find a sweet spot to get a display with proper gamma.4. HD Audio passthrough doesn't work as the tablet doesn't detect the HD audio support on my receiver for some reason using Micro HDMI to HDMI adapter (could be an adapter issue but most probably its the PowerVR/Intel Display driver issue5. No audio in "Connected Standby". This is silly. It keeps network connection and CPU/OS active and shut down display and sound - LAME! Why shut sound when you need it? Could not figure a way to keep it active6. No support for Hibernation. Despite activating using "powercfg -h on" CLI command, doesn't show up in power plans. Another avoidable issue.
Avoid Acer!

This product sucks.Cons (impossible to list all!):(1) Wifi was not working. Took it to the Acer service center. They took one week on it, changed the mother board. Wifi worked, but they were unable to activate windows!(2) Touch has always been an issue. Terrible.(3) Windows 8.1 hangs all the time. I doubt there is compatibility between windows and the hardware of this tablet. Poor work from Acer.Pros: none.Go for it only if you are bent upon getting cheated. Tablets cheaper than this perform far better. A substandard product from an ordinary company.Amazon doesn't let me review if I give zero star rating. I am therefore forced to give one star for this nonsense of a tablet.
VFM tab

Got this in unopened carton packaging in original plastic blister. It says Win 8.1 on labelling. I am not keen on the Office 365 or any subscription model. The Office 2013 Home &Student with Win 8 model would have been great.Please note that this uses a TN TFT screen. Not IPS. Hence cheap. But offset by bright screen and good battery. This is the tradeoff you make. The screen angles are bad. You have to sit with the tab placed in front to YOUR LEFT to see the whole screen clearly.A good stylus is a great help. All sort of weird things happen to the charms bar if you calibrate the touch screen. Don't.Quick delivery by Amazon! I ended up returning this. Hassle-free return by Amazon. Was I happy not to have been dealing with FlipKart! Night and day difference in service.
A VFM 8" Windows Tab

An above average tablet but a VFM proposition @6999/- . Display not very very crisp , a bit on heavier side and slight heating issue BUT since its a Full- Windows Tablet and NOT an Android - its very practical for daily e-mails , Reading books and doing other things for short duration - if you wish to work longer on it with I suggest to buy a Bluetooth Keyboard and mouse for this. Good battery back-up - 7 - 8 hours and can connect to Internet Dongles with cable directly as well.

fine tablet. I found it extremely helpful & easy to use. I am using it for reading and internet browsing. it is just work like computer in hand. best product from acer in best price. [it has some screen view issue but can be ignore]I got some issue with purchase this tablet. amazon solve and very attentively handle my issue. Got it on offer for Rs6300/- on flipkart. Awesome offer and awesome tablet.
Pros :
Has full Windows 8.1 OS. Can connect any device ( HDD, 3G Dongle, etc ) via the mini usb port. Has a mini HDMI, for me to connect to projectors, LED TVs.
Can install and run any .exe applications. So no worries about lack of apps. Has the full blown Firefox / Chrome support, so all websites open in regular desktop modes ( Best for using Banking Websites, which need Java or any other plugin )
Using it as a mini PC, for my Official Presentations. SO dont have to carry my huge laptop for simple presentations anymore.
Great battery backup. Lasts me a day of usage almost.
Awesome touch, no lag.
Cons :
Very ordinary cameras.
Not that great Screen Res.

heating problem,otherwise it's an excellent tab with windows 8.1 under 8k.camera quality is average.battery life is good.before updating it has some display problems related to display drives(display totally filled with cheks),but after the after update the problem was not arised.
finally its a good tab under 8k .
Laptop packed in a tablet

I bought this tablet for programming. it has managed to fulfill all my programming needs. I have stopped using my laptop since i purchased this tablet. I can download any windows application on it. I have installed business intelligence tools on it which i use for analytics. At this price i cannot ask for more. I even practice SAP on it and SAP works like a charm without slowing down the system. I connect the tablet to my Sony Bravia TV along with mouse and keyboard via an external USB hub and I have a full fledged computer with a large screen. Battery is truly awsome. With my high end programming which drains the RAM the battery survives for 2 days. I miss Android experience on it so i installed Bluestacks. With this programme i can run any android app on this device. Now I can harness the power of Windows and Android on the same device
