As you have hands on experience, if you post a few pictures you took with the lens (ie : on 70mm - Day & Low light ; 300mm Day & low light) can greatly help going forward for the lens. I finally bought this lens. "Flipkart" - Please forgive me as I have no words to salute and praise your service. I remember when I was a child, I've seen advertisements of goods delivery, where the service provider extend their hands to deliver to the person where ever they are, at any time. I placed the order on a Saturday, and the delivery period mentioned was 5 to 8 days, but to my surprise, it was smiling at me on the third day. Indeed I was not at home, and the delivery guys waited on my request till 7.10pm. MY BIG THANKS TO THEM. Love shopping with Flipkart. About the Lens, it's an excellent lens to start experiencing additional zoom. For it's price class, it's an awesome product. But, I do not see very much different using Sigma APO lens and Sigma Standard lens when compared at 300mm shots. Yet there is a significant price difference. Lens is noisy when it's in automatic mode, absolutely fair in manual mode. I'd love to add a few pictures I took with the lens, but here there are no options provided. To experience, zoom on a Sony Alpha, this is an affordable and excellent lens. Happy shopping with Flipkart

Awesome product.The lens is made in Japan. I was in doubt after going through some reviews stating that Sigma India is not providing good quality lenses. Not much here to discuss technically.Better reviews are available in net. The results after using the product is quite satisfactory though a bit noisy in auto mode. Flipkart service so far is very good.Thanks.They are lightning fast with COD & one day delivery purchases!!! But it is horrifying to see the E-Kart people racing on their bikes with hung around carts (bags with goods for delivery).Pray God its not your purchased packet getting damaged by a hit in the traffic. As a regular customer would like to see Flipkart parcel vans carrying our products for delivery.

I know it does not have image stabilization. But without that itself it went beyond expectations. Monopod or tripod will sure do wonders. Colors are natural. I am a normal user. For a normal user with not so much idea on photography the lens delivers what it has to. The details of an object I intend at a distance is very good. Zoom and macro is good for capturing small objects like honey bee or a small bird etc. Still I have to experiment. But surely value for money. Once again Japanese product proves it's quality. I use with canon D3000.

I brought this for my Canon 700D. I received the order next day. That was really quick and Complements to the seller and Amazon for packaging and delivery.Coming to the product, am using this for a week now. The picture's are sharp. It takes time to focus and also, it is best to use in daytime. You may have a look at the picture I uploaded.They have provided a lens hood and a pouch, both seems to be of good quality.

i bought this lense just to extend my reach.if u are newbie in photography u may buy this crap.it will let u practice.so the only reason to buy this lense is to practice telephotgraphy.dont expect keeper shot from this.its really a crap for which u never console. PROS 1)very cheap.metal mount,able to focus on entry level nikon dslrs(d3100,d3000,d5100), 2)macro capability.this is the only reason for which it still finds place in my bag.rather its a better butterfly lense :) 3)comes with good lense case and lense hood CONS 1)VERY NOISY VERY VERY SLOW AUTOFOCUS WITH FREQUENT FOCUS HUNTING..fron element rotates precluding use of polarizer 2)beyond 250mm images are virtually unusable.so no crop @250 or beyond 3)no image stabilization.this is a light lense and u tend to handhold this and without image stabilization u sud keep shutter speed very high 4)at 300 max aperture is 5.6 and due to lack of imagestabilization u hv to keep shutterspeed more than 500.inaddition to get sharper image u hv to stop down to 8(sweetpoint of this lense to me).all these factors make this lense a very slow lense and unles u r shooting in bright sunlight,u seldom manage a goodshot 5)images become grainy at 300 end CONCLUSION=ITS CHEAP TOY.PLAY WITH THIS UNTILL U MANAGE TO BUY A BETTER FAST ZOOM OR A TELEPRIME.
