After using Philips trimmers for 5-6 years and having worse experience with Philips service center to repair multi-groomer, i have shifted to american wahl brand and bought Wahl 9639-1024 trimmer. As i opened box i have shocked to see that there was no section or anything like that to keep clipper safe inside that box. May be because as it was made in china. Clipper body is having good grip for hand and some steel used on some part of the body. There was many attachments, Scissor, different combs,user guide printed paper, pouch, blade oil and small cleaning brush inside the box...Before using, you have to charge the trimmer for 16-18 hours. Vibration and sound or noise level of this trimmer is bearable and almost like Philips trimmer which i had. I found it quiet enough and bearable. Even though this trimmer comes with many attachments, you actually don't need all of them. By just using just 3 attachments, scissor and combo, i have given my son a hair cut. Picture of him after hair cut is attached with this review...As we have to apply oil on blade before use as mentioned in manual, while cutting hair, hair keep on sticking on the blades. So you may have to keep on removing it and may even need to remove blade or attachment again and again while cutting the hair. Other than that i found this clipper is perfectly working and value for money product.
