I was quite happy to receive the toaster and was using it nicely for about 3 months without any problem. My mom took great care of it, infact she is super careful about maintaining all her kitchen gadgets. One fine day we observed that parts of the non stick coating was literally peeling off! No scratch, or mandhandling or anything from our end that could cause such a major damage. It is well within the warranty period, and representatives from Bajaj visited us and confirmed that it was a manufacturing defect where the non stick coating was not uniformly/properly applied. They promised a quick replacement, but that was it. We are tired of calling their service centers, they only give us more and more phone numbers to call at and no one is doing anything about it. I am terribly disappointed about the product and more about the after sales service. May be bajaj no longer cares about its reputation!
