I ordered the product during big billion sale. Got about 15000 bucks cheaper as compared to market rate. Led tv is awsome, thin bezel and premium finish. Picture quality is marvelous typical sony product. Sound quality is good. No need of sound bar. Smart features are little slow. Tv remote is rubbery but easy ti use. Local sony service centre people installed the tv next day of delievery and explained the features in detail. Got netflix 6 months voucher with this purchase from flipkart included inside the packing. Definitely worth the buy

Received the TV in good condition on scheduled date. Flipkart arranged for the installation as well. The reason I am giving 1 star is because of the service. I called Sony to enquire about the assured gift that they are showing in their website as part of the festive offer. Sony told me that Flipkart should be delivering the gift along with the TV but Flipkart did not do that. I keep calling both Flipkart and Sony but both point the finger at the other person. Overall, very unsatisfied with this purchase.

So I was worried on why nobody has reviewed their purchase of this tv yet. anyway I will put my review. the tv panel is just great. one of the best I have seen. because of it's x1 Xtreme processor and true 4k her capabilities it can upscale the normal or ripped Blu Ray content to hd content. the full array back lit tv makes this tv very bright so you may end up reducing the brightness sometimes. I have yet to experience this in my PS4 pro but I hope it would be good. The tv is very heavy so if wall mounted it would be difficult to move it to use the back ports. so it would have been good if I used the movable mount (which would cost 2.5k). the ports are all there except standard sd ports for set top box. you have to use adapter. they have it blaster port which means the ir ports will be hanging out of your tv like earphones. only HDMI 2 and HDMI 3 port can be used for 4k content from PS4 or any other device and since HDMI 3 would take up for arc connect from sound system, HDMI 2 will only be available for 4k content from external device. Sound from tv is not that good. bass is bad though but sound, it's clear (thank God I have my Sony sound bar). overall excellent tv. but it's not worth 1.8 lkhs for sure. glad I got it for 1.4 but I would have loved if I had got it for 1 .. because that's the right price for this.

I purchased the TV at a price of 1.06L and that seems an appropriate evaluation after 3 weeks of usage. A couple of issues such as the shoddy Android interface, old fashioned remote and large boot up time initially bugged me off. However, the fascinating picture quality made me forgive sony for eternity. The colors are deep. Upscaling awesome on streaming apps. 4k videos are beautiful. HDR mostly untested yet except for a few episodes of Stranger Things 2 and they were great viewing. I haven't found anything wanting except for a better audio, but I'm not complaining. It's bearable. For the first ten days I couldn't figure out how to access my USB HDD once I came out of the pop up window. Then I figured out that it's just android and there are apps. I have been watching a whole lot of 4k content now from my HDD. The TV detects HDR if existing on USB too and that was a great relief for me. Overall, a great TV let down (however slightly) by the lazy software guys.

The TV picture quality is excellent for HD channels. For SD channels the quality depends on the transmission resolution and quality of transmission. Sound quality it not up to the mark. With sound control in DTH receiver , TV and Home theatre it is difficult to arrive at optimum settings as the sound quality varies for each channel depending on transmission. Overall good TV to have.
