This tv is fabulous one from SONY, designed for perfection , mind blowing picture quality,though the smart features are not outstanding, its a best bet considering the picture quality and i have heard that SONY's 3D is not good compared to others and all but its a different story inside , its a passive 3D so that you can make every HD video as 3D with simulated 3D and believe me it works clean.Thanks to TRI Luminous display it rocks, it can support upto 2TB hard disk, also it can play .MKV format seamlessly .
i got this TV from a local dealer for 1,17,000 as a Christmas offer. and am a happy .
conclusion: tho it looks pricey if you can afford it , i will tell you its a best bet in this segment.
Gamer's Paradise! Better than 4K!!

I happen to be a hardcore gamer and I was looking for an option to connect my laptop to my TV via HDMI. I came across many TVs from LG and a few from Samsung as well which had 4K. I was quite startled to find 4K in TVs priced in this bracket. So i carried out a little research of my own and found out that other TVs had around a refresh rate of 100Hz -200Hz.
When an external device such as a laptop is connected to these TVs the images on the TV lag a bit and 4K turned out to be useless because the proper feed isn't available and you eventually have to switch to Full HD i.e. 1920x1080p.
Whereas this television flaunts a refresh rate of 400Hz which is double of its competition.
As lag is unacceptable for any device, in gaming its frustrating.
Don't have second thoughts over this product. Just go for it. It's Sony after all!!

I purchased this from Electrokraft a multiband consumer electronics outlet in Jamshedpur on 22 Feb 2015 (Not from Flipkart) as I heard rumors about Sony not providing warranty for flipkart products.
An awesome product, an engineering marvel from SONY. As a tech worm I was researching for the TV of my dreams and I found my love. No second thoughts about it.
Overall a fantastic buy and a great experience.
1.HD Channels are just awesome.....
2. A paradise for the gamers an unparallel experience while
a) playing games (connecting lappy via HDMI & phone via WiFi Direct) thanks to the refresh rate of 400Hz which many high end TVs lag.
b) watching games (specially Soccer) in the HD Channels with dedicated Football mode.
3. 3D works splendid, it also has a feature which is called simulated 3D which converts normal 2D channels and movies to 3D
4. It has a wide range of apps to choose from especially Facebook, Skype, YouTube etc...it has an inbuilt Skype Camera which adds a crown to the TV.
5. The TV can seamlessly be connected to Laptops to watch contents on a larger brighter and crisper screen.
6. Features like WiFi Direct takes your content on the smart phone like Samsung Galaxy S5 to the next level.
7. It comes with a Touch Remote and also the regular remote, the touch remote has a touch pad for easy web browsing, channel changing etc so its pretty cool .
8. The Television has 4 HDMI ports and 3 USB Ports so if you have Blueray players, dvd players, digicams and other devices to connect to the television you can easily do it.
I ordered the SONY sa-d100 along with this and it really gives a premium feel in the living room.
It’s a product which is way better than many of the 4K TVs of Samsung & LG. A treat for the eyes and ears….a 200% return for the 80K spent. It is costly compared to other brands which have the same features but you will not regret it honestly!! Its worth the price!!
Overall Im very happy with the performance of the TV and baffled by its features..so yes it is a MUST BUY Product if you are thinking of buying it!!

So I purchased it from a local store and its simply awesome!!
I can connect to my Desktop Computer via Wifi and browse and watch videos from my PC on the TV, The 3D effects are superb.. it also has a feature which is called simulated 3D which converts normal 2D channels and movies to 3D, It has a wide range of apps to choose from especially Facebook, Skype, YouTube etc...it has an inbuilt Skype Camera which is of decent quality.
The Television has 4 HDMI ports and 3 USB Ports so if you have consoles, dvd players and other devices to connect to the television you can easily do it..
It comes with a Touch Remote and also the regular remote, the touch remote has a touch pad for easy web browsing, channel changing etc so its pretty cool , but it is the touch is too sensitive(I think there is a setting to reduce the sensitivity) ..
Overall Im very happy with the performance of the TV and baffled by its features..so yes it is a MUST BUY Product if you are thinking of buying it!!
It is costly compared to other brands which have the same features but you will not regret it honestly!! Its worth the price!!
this TV has a display panel which can be kept in bank locker only as it is delicate

Good TV,options are working fine. I connected external woofer to earphone and tuned option to woofer in sound setting. Woofer quality is good with TV channels but not as good with player or screen morroring
