Review after using 6 month:-1. Got this TV approx.27k by adding few offers. Best deal for me.2. Best size 43" for a hall of 12-15 feet in this range.3. Look, finishing, picture quality every thing is very good. Sound is amazing no need to add any woofer or speaker.4. With HD connection looks amazing.Till date no problem noticed.Thank you Philips for such a nice fabrication with 3year warranty...Go for it if you find stock available without any hesitation..

I have purchased two Philips television sets one after another. First, I purchased 32 inch, HD Ready, 32PFL4231/V7 A7 for my bedroom. I was so much satisfied with the performance, that I was motivated to buy the second Philips TV of 43 inch, Full HD, 43PFL4351 within just 2 days for my Living room. My decision to go for the 2nd TV with Philips only was greatly driven by the audio quality, which I observed the best among all the competitive products.The picture quality in this TV is excellent. The sharpness and clarity of image is far superior compared to any TV within similar price range.However, to my utter despair, I observed 2 serious bottlenecks in the second TV i.e. 43PFL4351 ( for which I am writing the review):1) When I play any music or movie through USB pen drive, the audio volume is extremely poor in 43PFL4351, in comparison to 32PFL4231. Following are further details:a. Though I did not compare their sounds by any sound meter, but I could estimate that the loudness of sound in 43PFL4351 is 50% or more lower than that of 32PFL4231. While, in 32PFL4231, the volume of a music a USB pen drive is set as ), is set as 30 ( out of 100), I can hear the same loudness 43PFL4351 with volume setting at least 60 with the same pen drive.b. I did not do the above test in the same room.c. With TV channel ON, the sound level in 43PFL4351 is very good. I do not have any complaint. It happens only for USB. However, sound in a TV channel is also controlled by the volume of set top box. So, it is a dual amplification. I cannot compare the same thing in 32PFL4231, because till now, I did not get any cable connection at 32PFL4231.d. I am compelled to use an external speaker while watching a movie with USB stick.e. To make 43PFL4351 as a smart TV, I purchased Tweee streaming device, and I observed that if I play the same music or movie from laptop using the same pen drive, the loudness of sound from 43PFL4351 is much better than when played from USB.2) While playing a movie through USB stick, 43PFL4351 does not allow me to change aspect ratio to choose from “zoom” or “smart zoom”, in comparison to 32PFL4231 for the same movie. I observed that a similar problem is described Philips forum below.[...]While both 32PFL4231 and 43PFL4351 are having 20W audio specification, I expect that the sound performance of both should be the same. If not, the sound of 43PFL4351 should be the better, because it is a bigger TV.I also suspect that original sound 43PFL4351 might not be so bad. It might be firmware update issue.I registered a complaint with Philips Call Center and wrote an email. They responded to it and closed the call without attending the call.The HDMI cable, audio output comes out from the bottom part, and it is difficult to access. For example, if I want to put Teewe dongle for streaming through internet (making it a smart tv), I cannot insert the Teewe dongle directly into the TV HDMI slot, because the TV space does not permit. So, I have to connect a HDMI extension cable. To put on the cable, I have to take out the TV from the wall.So, I have keep the HDMI ext. cable there itself so that I do not have to dismantle it from the wall. This is problem of design by Philips. They could have placed all the slots side wise for easy access.
