Its good product, I have down loaded Prime video,in Apps & enjoying movies & TV Shows on this UHD TV . Initially I was also apprehensive about the product but I am happy that I purchased an Indian Product which is as good as international brands with almost half the price. I have taken 1+2 years Extended warranty I advice all others to do the same, presuming that if your product does not give problem in next three years then its good for plenty more years. BE INDIAN BUY INDIAN if the product is competitive is my policy & this product is competitive I have no doubt about its quality.

Awesome product with excellent service. I was a bit sceptical while purchasing as this is the first time I purchased a television online. Everyone gave me pointers to fear about online purchases and service denials. I too did a lot of research and finally took a call to buy this beauty as I was getting the same product at an additional 2k from brick and motor shop. The installation happened within 24 hours of delivery.I waited for a year to give review as I wanted to see the performance.I am happy with the product and service.

Hello All Please don't buy any of these products from Flipkart . First they had sent a bad product and replaced it on June 23-2015.Till 04-July-2015 they had not done installation. They are simply passing minimum return period time of the 7 days . Their customer care is not reachable even after 30 min also and not accepting calls .there is no call back. Flipkart team is not bother about all these things and they are not looking post sale service. Till today that is on 15-June-2015 installation has not happen none of the Flipkart turn up on this, they don't even care. My sincere request to you all don’t buy MicroMAX TV product at all particularly don't buy anything from Flipkart this guys will show us the hades.

the authorized installation technician from flipkart declared that the sent product was having manufacturing defect and informed to the customer care. a white 2 inch bar on the panel while switched on. the product was not quality checked before shipping. we are not investing 50000 rs for micromax brand. because of flipkart exclusive we purchased.i want full cash back. take hi care on costly purchases.because online purchases need more trust. the other reviews says the product is not a complete 4k led television. 4k television should play 4k stock contents with declared formats. for just watching television channels we have no need of 4k because only 25 hd channels available in india, which needs only fullhd tv sets maximum. it is cheap television by quality.... not by price ...

I booked the TV on 13.03.15 and received the same on 15.03.15 including installation on the same day although being Sunday. 5 Stars to FLIPKART service. But the TV did not power on at 1st attempt by the service technician. It turned ON the 2nd attempt and all went well. We watched the TV and surfed youtube on Monday as well. Next morning the TV refused to turn on. The bottom logo would sometimes turn on after pressing panel power switch and after pressing the remote power button the logo screen would be displayed only to go blank again (both screen as well as panel bottom logo). I guess there is a manufacturing defect in the TV. The tv was replaced by flipkart on 25th march. Interesting thing to note is that after 17th march (after requesting replacement) i found that the tv refuses to turn off only when the power plug is removed from socket. Secondly the tv turning on and off after displaying logo happened only twice and none thereafter. So i did not touch the power cable at all from 17th to 25th March and the TV was working. The micromax technician came at his leisure and declared that there could be some current leakage in the power panel and therefore the TV was taking time to turn on whenever the power cord was removed. Infact the similar thing is happening on the replacement TV....No, it does not turn off (not yet) but it takes some time to turn ON when power cord is removed and plugged in socket again. Finally about the TV- 1. Quality of picture-very good.Sound also good. Both on par with big brands like sony... 2. Air mouse function of remote is very good for surfing. 3. I Could watch ultra hd 4k content from youtube...thanx to my hathway 50mbps broadband....you must have high speed broadband for watching 4k on net. 4. This tv is value for money....how long it will last ...remains a question.. Another option is to buy a 55inch VU FHD and wifi bluray player/android tv wfif box...but that will cost around 12 to 13k additional to 50K for this tv. So you see its a good value for money...

First of all, it is a nice product, good looking neat finish. Installation was okay, i had to help the technician for the remote to work. To activate remote, press menu and mute simultaneously for 3 blinks. Dont expect it to be a UHD tv, it is not. The 4K videos get struck, i dont have any idea about 4K dth channels. refresh rate is okay but less than 60Hz. You shouldnt compare it with Sony or Samsung. This one is a cheaper value for money product. Also android smart tv crashes a lot. If you need a hassle free tv usage you should chose Samsung or Sony smart tv with smaller screen size. This tv is good for minimal usage and large halls. Value for money i guess. To conclude it is a good Smart TV with namesake UHD option.

Dear Friends, This 49" UHD TV came home in less than 12 hours after placing the order and was easy for self install, being so light. To my utter surprise, the installation person too showed up within couple of hours after delivery, did demo more features and did the wall mounting in a jiffy! Great experience indeed... Now, here is some critical feedback - 1) Picture quality - For best quality, choose "USER" and set the range of brightness to 60-70, contrast to 25-30, colour to 25-30, sharpness to 30-50, backlight to 0-30 (depending on daylight brightness). 2) HDMI 1080p (50p) has issues - This Micromax TV (with HDMI 1.4) has problem synchronizing to 1080p properly. I tried a high end cable with filter-traps and it did improve a lot with only some white-spot-noise remaining (I went back to 1080i-50Hz and found that the quality is superb with this high-end HDMI cable). My satellite box did work well with (previous) Philips HDTV in the 1080-50p mode, so the receiver on that Philips TV is made of better SNR handling than this Micromax. The TV apparently does the progressive upscaling to its UHD screen, so it kind of works out fine I guess. I connected up my Roku box and the Micromax TV syncs at 1080p-50Hz perfectly with the Roku, even with cheaper HDMI cable. So, must be Videocon D2H box has weak signal strength at 1080p. I do not have a 4K source yet, so have not been able to test for 4K HDMI modes. 3) The TV comes up from power-up in Andriod screen. The remote does not have a "TV" button!! After playing around for a couple of days, I found a wonderful hidden feature - Use the Left/Right scroll buttons on remote to switch to TV/Andriod. 4) The Andriod features work superbly, but you will not be satisfied with waving the remote around to act like a mouse/keyboard. However, I found the MiScreen remote application on my Andriod phone has an excellent scroll-pad + keyboard option that works very well to use instead of the provided remote. So, this issue is resolved. 5) The killer feature is the MiScreen feature (install MiScreen-K application on your andriod phone and connect that to the same wireless router as the TV to use it)... This TV can stream the TV channel (or the Andriod screen) that is being viewed (along with Audio) to the Andriod Mobile, in excellent resolution! This is like having a built-in Slingbox!! (within your home WiFi range limits). 6) The connected mobile app also offers some TV remote and gaming controller options. The software can be improved a lot. I’m expecting some good updates on Playstore! 7) There are 3 USB ports (I wish we had an extra third HDMI port too), one of which is USB 3.0! USB Flash drive works well. It is difficult to access the USB ports, once you wall mount the TV. I have used an USB extender cable ease connections. 8) The power consumption (~70w typ) is less than half of my earlier philips 42" HDTV, which also weighs twice as much as this svelte Micromax (16 Kg!) 9) Wall mount is very good, with an excellent wall hug. It is easy to remove the TV off the mount to clean/re-do connections. 10) I am toying with mounting some LED lighting strips on the back of the TV (two sides and top zone have flat plastic areas where this can be done), so that we get good reflected backlight on the wall, for "easy-on-the-eyes" night time viewing. 11) The VGA port works great, up to 1920x1080x60Hz. 12) The Y-Pr-Pb (component Video) along with stereo audio input works well with my good old Philips DVD Player. I have only a 480p-50Hz output from that player box. The audio volume tends to be too loud. Would have appreciated if the TV remembers the audio-level for each input channel privately. Right now, the audio level is common for all input sources. 13) I have no use for the Analog/Cable TV input. So, no comments. 14) The sound quality of the built-in speakers is not bad, but not great either..I switch on my amp when I need good sound. The Micromax TV has an SPDIF output on the side, which I have not used, as I am able to source digital sound, directly from the Set-top box to my Amp. Some of the other reviews have been battering this TV model about 4K 30Hz only option. The reality is that the 4K streaming in India is still nascent and may only be using low frame rates anyway. So, using a 30Hz frame rate to the TV may not be much of a loss. Given the price I paid, I guess I would be happy with this limitation for a while. When 4K is here seriously, I am sure we will get a well priced upgrade option from Micromax. Happy viewing for a market-shaker product from Micromax.. Wake-up time for Samsung/LG and others! Not everyone wants dumb 3D which will kill your eyes!
