It has been quite some time since I started using this tab. The display is good, but maybe it doesn't have auto-brightness (I don't know); I couldn't find it. The camera is average (or above average, for my use. It has some adjustment features, such as ISO, exposure etc. It is given that it has only one sensor (G sensor) and a proximity one, but I didn't have any problem downloading anything (as of now). There's only one problem--it runs on android v4.2.1, which is bit old, but it doesn't matter much. The screen is responsive, but the screen cover (already sticked) gets dirt and scratches somewhat easily. The dirt can be cleaned, but scratches can't be. It is provided with a flip cover, which, though thick and not covering the camera but the SIM and micro SD slot, has some modes, which allow you to keep the tablet in a couple of positions, for watching or using it on a desk. The speaker is at the back, and the sound goes towards the back only, unless you put something in its way to reflect the sound. It comes with Kingsoft Office preinstalled.

Tab is very nice with its hardware stuff. You cannot get this specification for the price (INR 12,499)i have got.few observations after using1)Display is very nice as HD, but size of the screen is not as specified (user can experience some truncation of text, can b seen when you play subway surfer)2)normally as in smart phones search (for apps or etc) is not available3)Battery backup is awesome, I have to travel for around 13 hrs of which i have use the tab for around 6 - 8 hrs, still charge was available as battery is 4800 mAh4) rear camera is good, front cam acts better in sunlight, poor in ni8 time5) You cannot charge your tab when connected to laptop.6) overall performance, style & price are pretty worth.

I never Expected such a wonderful device at this cost, First of all I was a using Samsung Galaxy Tab3 which cost me around 17,500 but I was unhappy with the performance...Here are the reasone Why MicroMax Tab Rocks!!Reasons:1) IPS HD screen (Better then Samsung)2) Touch is very much responsive3) Quad core Processor4) 1 GB Ram5) Internet Speed and WiFi speed is amazing6) (Most IMP) It can run most high graphical GAMES (I played Ashfalt8, Real Football, Hungry Shark, Real Steel)...Running so smooth without any lag7) Build qualty is also good with Alluminium body comare to samsung's ruff plastic8) Dual Camera and both Camera result is nice with HDR feature9) Comes with a multipurpose folded flip cover and Screen Guard on it11) Battery ROCKS....It works so good compare to any other table in the world.....All this you get in just 12-13k is the deal breaker....Now it's about 2 months and I am using this TAB but feeling so good to have such device.If you are planning to buy a TAB then you should go with this tab with closed eyes...@ Amazon: You guyz are awesome. It has met all my expectations & I'm fully satisfied with the product. Moreover, the product comes with a solid & durable flip cover which was a bonus to my expectations. Touch sensitivity, video & picture qualities are unbelievably awesome. Rear camera(5 MP) is very good which captures excellent pictures even at night time. Video recording with rear camera supports full HD(1080p) recording & is of fine & clear quality undoubtedly. But the front camera is sadly very poor, though it is mentioned as 2 MP, it hardly captures photos of just VGA quality. Apps & games are running very smoothly.Sound quality is much better compared to micromax mobile phones. Battery back up is very good. I need to charge it on every alternate days though I play games & watch videos & do phone calls, sms on a moderate basis daily, device does not exhaust easily. Hats off to micromax. Delivery services by amazon.in was excellent, I received the product within 3 days of ordering though expected delivery date was given as 4-7 days. Thank you.

Product was Oct 2013 manufactured.The external box packaging done by Amazon did not have enough stuffing inside (Bubble wrap or similar) and the box was almost 3 times larger than the actual tablet box, so the box was running free flow. This may not be good for an electronic item.The product had 2 damaged/stick/dead pixels on the screen. The magnetic flaps of the cover wasnt sticking well (to make it as stand), this could be due to magnets gotten weak over storage period or could be due to poor quality. But the youtube reviews on this magnets says otherwise over quality.Based on 2 days of usage:The display brightness was good, the tablet was very much responsive, Micromax has bundled loads of apps. It did come along with screenguard and the quality seemed to be good as well.Sound quality was not hi-fi or stereo but is audible in a silent place.Did not explore more on this device as i am returning the product due to defect said above.

I recently brought this product after some considerable time and efforts into reviews and comparison. I though I will share the below observaions.1. Trust in Micromax! - I, like many of u, had never used a micromax product before and had this apprehension about its quality. All that went out of the door just after using the product for 1 hour. I am not sure about micromax phones and any lower end tablets, but this tablet isn't by any means inferior to a samsung or whatever tablet in the same price range.2. Built quality, form factor- Lot of people have given reviews about the awkward shape of this tablet and its true. This tablet is probably best for people who has a primary phone and wants to use the tablet only for data, some messaging and may be occasional phone calls through a headset. its such a pain to use this one as a regular phone. It you want a phone+tablet in the same price range, I would recommend to go for ASUS Fonepad 7, without thinking twice. Coming back to canvas p650, I would also give thumps-up in the built quality. It has premium look and feel. (for the blue one, I find the white one rather cheap looking. but hey people have different taste).3. Accessories- this may not be a huge factor, but considering that some tablets dont even come with a headset in the box, the additional cover that micromax provide with this one is a huge plus. the cover is a perfect fit for the tablet and u might be already knowing it can double-up as a stand. so if you are somebody who is definitely going to put a cover on your tablet, consider its cost to the comparisons. Also I read a review mentioning that the magnets in the cover were not working properly. I experienced the same issue with mine initially but after couple of days,they began to work properly. I dont know, but may be the magnets need some time to come out of the shelf time.4. Performance- people put lot of thoughts on performance and I find it rather unnecessary. Just look at the processor and RAM of the tablets you are considering. As long as they are in the same range, performance you get will be the same. I might be simplifying here and tablets with same processor can give slightly different outputs but in end a 1.2 GHz quad core is not going to give you the performance of a 2.0 GHz. If you need high performance, simply go for a tablet with a better processor and higher price.5. Apps- Nothing much to mention here other than the preloaded kingsoft office. There are dozens of office suites that you can install from play store anytime,but I prefer one preloaded (this may not have any logic or make make any difference)6. Others- I was planning on a very detailed review, but seems like I am not going to make it, hence some quick comments.Camera- Both front and rear are satisfactory. and as you know, there in no flash.Speakers- Good.Battery life-I am getting mixed results in these early days but above average for sureTouch screen- Good. very responsiveDisplay,Video playback - GoodDoesnt support flash content on websites. Installing a flash supported browser is never going to work properlyAnd just to correct some wrong reviews that I have come across- the tablet does charge when connected to laptop/desk. You can change the number of homescreensNote:- I brought this for INR 12,XXX, now its 13,8XX. So you may have to check for other websites offering less or may be include tablets in the same price range for comparison. Also, I would like to mention again, If I have to buy a different tablet in the same price range, I would buy Asus Fonepad 7
